Hope you all had a nice weekend and enjoy today.

crace · 14/05/2007 08:03

Hi Shosha, and all - had a pretty rough weekend, I have today off to go and have a scan for the baby - it's not looking good. Will spare you all the details, but I am almost positive it's over. I am ok though, will update you all when we know more...

Shoshable · 14/05/2007 08:18

PinkChick · 14/05/2007 08:22

morning everyone, can i ask...what do you all do with your washing when the wether is like this??we have washer/dryer but the mound is so high it needs to be on wash again most of day..i have hung as much upstair on radiators as poss, but have 4 huge ones down stairs that would help..dont like having things hanging on them when 'working' though??..esp not in hall as thats stripped ready to paper at min and looks scruffy enough?..so what do you do?

mumlove · 14/05/2007 08:22

Crace - I will be thinking of you today.
dmo - How are you this morning, come and talk to us.

hennipenni · 14/05/2007 08:23

Morning everyone one.
crace - will be thinking of you today hun x

pinkchick - if I'm desperate I hang clothes on hangers in bedrooms to dry (on curtain rail, off bunk beds, door frames, etc)! I have no radiators and only the gas fire in my living room so have trouble drying things. Also have a clothes horse in my bedroom which I hate but need! (Don't childmind upstairs except for overnights so out of sight.)

I'm feeling a bit down at mo, need some new mindees as my paltry pay will go down considerably after this summer term. Need some biggies and littlies! Looking at what other people are earning and paying tax on has got me down too, I have never earn't over the personal allowance! Going rate here is £2.50 an hour, grrr - it's silly really as surely as the whole country earns above minimum wage we should all be on roughly the same hourly rate. In an ideal world that is of course.!

KaySamuels · 14/05/2007 08:58

Hmm don't know where that ' came from! I meant earnt

Shoshable · 14/05/2007 08:59

Kay where are you love, is their a surfiet of CMs near you?

OP posts:
KaySamuels · 14/05/2007 09:05

I'm in Hull, there are three cms that do my local primary school (only one in walking distance), one is full with littlies (she is lovely) charges 2.50, and one has a couple of kids (the poacher I mentioned on here before) charges 2.60 and has the most vacancies.

KaySamuels · 14/05/2007 09:06

the school in walking distance I mean not the cms!

mumlove · 14/05/2007 09:16

4 of my group have cancelled (looks like a quiet morning).

I hang my washing up over night on airers over the banister and in the lounge. By the morning it's dry enough to just finish off in the dryer(don't like to use it with wet clothes straight from the washer).

looneytune · 14/05/2007 09:19

Morning everyone,

Crace - thinking of you, email or MSN if you want to chat (although you may not want to). I don't know the details but have a rough idea of what you must be going through as I've been there before. Many [[[hugs]]] to you xx (msn - [email protected])

Right, I'm off to put the kettle on before the sisters arrive - lets see how sick baby is today!!! For those who knew how sick she was and have helped with my sickness policy etc, have you seen my update thread about the au pair??? I'll grab a link in a mo and then you may understand why I'm with the family and feel for baby.

I feel like crap today, cold with really bad cough that's killing my chest. Think I'll stay off group today to avoid spreading my germs any further!

Oh, doorbell.....

MaureenMLove · 14/05/2007 09:30

Ugg [Mo slumps into an armchair and wishes mindee1 hadn't learnt to crawl last week]

What a complete waste of an evening. I ate my dinner then fell asleep on the sofa. DH sent me to bed at 11'ish. I had so many big plans for the evening. I'm not even sure if Kbear decided to go to Scotland without me or not yet!

looneytune · 14/05/2007 09:32

here's my link

MaureenMLove · 14/05/2007 09:38

Oh lordy, I am truely a crap mother today! I've just read the whole thread and noticed that its SATS week. I really should have wished dd (who is in year 6!) good luck then , shouldn't I?

I'm going to sort out all the cm toys, once mindee goes to sleep. There's toys and prams everywhere. I'm I the only one with 3 prams in the house. I've got 1 buggy, 1 pram, and a double buggy. Where do you put them, when your not working? I've only got an 11 year old, so I don't need any of this stuff around at the weekend and I'd love to 'file' it properly.

dmo · 14/05/2007 09:46

oh crace i'm so sorry hope your ok today

PinkChick · 14/05/2007 11:00

what time are you going Crace?.x

crace · 14/05/2007 11:47

Hi guys, thanks - we leave in 45 minutes to go. I am expecting the worst, it's confirming it and making sure physically I am ok. Not good news I am sure I am a bit worried about my bleeding, but I will know soon enough.

Will let you guys know this pm - depending on the slow NHS.

Thanks for the kind messages, just a shock how quickly this has come about

dmo · 14/05/2007 11:49

good luck kisses and hugs to you xxx
