Well my OH is now 40+1 and not enjoying this hot weather. She's used acupuncture and reflexology with no joy as yet.

I'll give the acupressure points a try and see if that works. We're not really in any rush but we both really want a home birth and just know that the midwives will start to think about induction shortly.

I think the question should be - have you managed to bring on labour before 40 weeks? After 40-41 week labour might have started naturally in any case without pineapples etc...you might just think it was extra measures that brought it on...
