Piccalilli2 · 16/04/2008 11:54

Wow, congrats to VS!

Come on Scorpio, get on with it.

I'm now 41+2 and have resigned myself to induction on Monday as no amount of raspberry leaf etc seems to be shifting my girl.

EllieG · 16/04/2008 12:29

MerlinsBeard · 16/04/2008 14:04

paranoid...are u pg too?

scorpio1 · 16/04/2008 15:08

i had a MW appt today at 10-45am, Millies HB was very high, so i had to go to other clinic for CTG monitoring for about 45 mins. then i had a sweep, her heart was ok. Sweep was fine. She said cervix not favourable yet, but is soft, sweep v easy to do.

Induce a week today.

DonDons · 16/04/2008 15:34

Glad Millie is okay Scorpio....another week? Poor poor you!

scorpio1 · 16/04/2008 15:34

i just dont want to be induced, i dont really care about another 7 days of pregnancy.

SquonkTheBeerGuru · 16/04/2008 15:38
scorpio1 · 16/04/2008 15:39

in a way i will be so pleased to get this over, in another i am so anxious and frankly terrified of being induced, i feel like im loosing control of this.

I get a repeat sweep on Sat.

lulumama · 16/04/2008 15:58

a lot can happen in a week!

scorpio1 · 16/04/2008 15:58

i know lulu, MW said that too. feel today.

lulumama · 16/04/2008 16:01

ok, you may feel sad until 18.00 then you must shrug it off and feel positive and happy !

if you are soft and the sweep was easy, then you are on your way

TLSM · 16/04/2008 16:22

The funny thing is Scorpio I was induced with DS and felt a lot more in control I knew what was happening when you go in you have the gel then they break your waters and put you on a drip you contractions begin getting stronger you take some pain meds you then start ushing and have your baby (thats what it was like for me I know it doesnt go that way for everyone) the whole natural labour makes me feel like I have lost control you dont know when its going to start and then if it does your not sure its the real thing and if it will continue! If they said to me come in tomorrow and we will induce you I would say oh good what time! I think thats why I keep doing things to make this one come on to get back a little control.

scorpio1 · 16/04/2008 16:58

thanks TLSM. Its just i always have felt in control up to now, with both my other pgs and with their births.

I guess i am being silly.

scorpio1 · 16/04/2008 17:03

also her head has popped out again.

lulumama · 16/04/2008 17:04

that doesn't mean anything for a 3rd baby, will engage properly with labour

unless you mean her head has popped out of your foof!!

scorpio1 · 16/04/2008 17:05

always makes me smile when you say foof

no she is only 3/5 now. I will be ok, feel sorry for myself today.

lulumama · 16/04/2008 17:06

yes.foof makes me smile

never say it to clients

always do grown up face and say vagina

she is partially engaged then
