We don't know its a girl, but on April thread so far there are 12 boys and 4 girls...

VeraSquonkTheBeerGuru · 10/04/2008 11:09

right, I'm going with boy then

TLSM · 10/04/2008 11:10

No its a surprise so the Girsl are a guess I think its because we seem to be mainly Boys on the April thread so need some girls to even things up!

Seconding the Mini laptop...... wonder if we could get them on the NHS BUT ITS ESSENTIAL

Do hope she took Peachies number with her for updates

sagitta · 10/04/2008 11:11

She also posted a pic of herself - and she's pretty big...
now you know as much as anyone

MerlinsBeard · 10/04/2008 11:11

errrmmm boy 8lb 4oz

Scampmum · 10/04/2008 11:19

Girl 8lb 12oz.

GO GO GO VS!!!

sagitta · 10/04/2008 11:26

She probably has just gone to shop for more marshmallows [Eeyore emoticon]

ToastAddict · 10/04/2008 11:26

Oooh, so exciting!
Girl 8lb 10oz

Bet she's just doing mum stuff with the kids, after all this speculation!!!

ToastAddict · 10/04/2008 11:29

Nah Sagitta, she'd send DD for that - I'm pretty sure it's her who has her DD trained to go to the shops to get pasties for her! Which is what children should do

sagitta · 10/04/2008 11:43

That's true!

Scampmum · 10/04/2008 11:46

So excited for her - how brilliant that she cancelled the CS yesterday!

Didn't like that 10 minute comment, though - eek! DD (not quite 2) will be delivering LO if that happens.

TLSM · 10/04/2008 11:47

lol yes it is VS who's DD goes to the local for supplies!

TLSM · 10/04/2008 11:50

10 minutes it takes my 1/2 to get DH to answer his bloody mobile phone i rang him three times this morning (asking what he wanted for dinner - the highlight of my day now on ML) and I left a rather rude message on the third attempt something along the lines of I am bloody 38 weeks pregant answer your phone you pratt - a tad harsh but he got the point!

TLSM · 10/04/2008 11:51

right I am off may pop into B&Q and buy some paint think I may paint the kitchen ceiling!

sagitta · 10/04/2008 12:15

Blimey - that sounds like real nesting...are you sure that's wise, TLSM? Cake and telly sounds safer...

whomovedmychocolate · 10/04/2008 12:20

Girl 9lb 2 I reckon for VS (go girl go!)

paranoidmummy · 10/04/2008 12:23

how exciting about vs!!! i hope this is it! i'm going to be refreshing this page all day now!!

ok... so i have 'agreed' to have ONE DOSE of prostin gel as a last ditch attempt before going for elcs... the cons managed to persuade me its nothing like the drip and shouldn't pose a major prob with vbac. i hope i have made the right choice... i can always cancel if not. will give me one last shot before the section i suppose.

on a plus note, i got my sweep today! cervix is still quite posterior but is soft and 2cm dilated making a HUGE diff from what it was on sun. have been very crampy since and going to go for monster walk in a while to see if it does anything. i'm having horrendous stabbing pains in my cervix like baby is shoving a carving knife through from the inside... does this make sense?!

lulumama · 10/04/2008 12:32

sounds positive paranoidmummy. i was offered induction for VBAC with prosin, but went into labour spontaneously, so cannot really help there. hopefiully, you can relax a bit more which will help, sound favourable anyway

do we really think this is it for VS, i do hope se

my prediction is 8lb 3

paranoidmummy · 10/04/2008 12:33

scorpio - re acupuncture for induction... i had it last week so if you have any questions let me know. it didn't work for me but i think i just had it done too early. i think its quite effective usually

paranoidmummy · 10/04/2008 12:40

i feel sooooooooooooooooooooo much more relaxed now lulu . i think cos i know that this time next week i should have my baby (or at least be well on my way! - going in for the prostin on wed morn) it all feels so much better . I feel really calm suddenly... about frigging time!

vs - i think a boy 9lbs 3oz

VictorianSqualor · 10/04/2008 12:41
lulumama · 10/04/2008 12:42
