Hi mums, what's your opinion in regards to skin to skin right after birth.
Should I have skin to skin right away once baby is born.
What if I chose not to do this right away will it be bad for baby?
There is a lot of positive for both baby and I on doing skin to skin right away. I've been reading online. But I want to know from mums, their first hand experience.

@laurenGame it may well be different and I may have been fine, But I just didn't want to take the chance. 🙂

It’s up to you, you can do as you like, but it’s a bit odd to read ‘babies are delivered onto your chest’

They mostly aren’t, I’d imagine. They are ejected from your nether regions not your chest.

They only make it up to your chest in very specific set of circumstances which often involves planning and assistance, surely.

The best laid plans and all that…
