What did you wear for water birth?

I'm planning on having a water birth. Just wondering what to pack to wear. I am thinking just a bikini top to make it easy for skin to skin afterwards but any suggestions would be appreciated

I wore just my bra as it was all a rush and I didn't have my hospital bag with me! But the plan was the tankini top from my maternity swimwear.

And I’m not the kind of gal who wanders about naked at the gym. I’m more the kind of person who is awkwardly fumbling around under a towel trying to get swimwear on and off! 🤣

During Labour I didn’t care at all!

I was naked. It didn’t seem weird at all. Would’ve felt weirder having something on I think.

Not had a water birth but I was naked or just in a bra for all 5 of mine, which would work just as well in water as out.

Wore an old nightie when first got in the pool,whipped it off pretty sharpish though was adamant my sister wouldn't see me naked because she's pretty prudish about that stuff,didn't give a shit when it all got real though.

This is so reassuring! I planned a tankini top but when it came to it there was no way I wanted to faff with it or have anything touching me. Starkers and I didn't care one bit Grin
