3.56am and pain!

So I woke up at 2 am with period type pain strong enough to wake me.out of a deep sleep. Pains ongoing despite hot bath, paracetamol and tens machine some tightenings but mainly back and period pain.
Dare I ask could this be it?

Is baby back to back? SiL had hers like this. 3 days of labour with back pains and period like pains. Mine were definite cramping after an hour and was a regular birth. 10.5 hour labour total. I'd hate to have a long birth so fingers crossed for you it ramps up again!

Don’t get in the bath! It slows your labour down. Why do you think they don’t let you get into the pool until you’re established?
Go for a long walk

I was told that a bath will slow things down so if you want to ramp things up maybe try an exercise ball or a walk instead. Good luck! This is how mine started with my first

@Newmumma83 I'm in hospital brought in to be induced but bubba decided he was having it his way and labour started although slow progress tens machine on birthing ball out just hoping it doesnt take to long X

I'm awake with exactly the same as you described originally OP. Second night of period pains, back ache and cramps. Seem to get worse at night and then disappear in the day at the moment.
