Trace2- with my first.. (my dd) i was convinced from the moment I knew I was pg that I would have complications and wouldnt go to term.. Had told my mw and she laughed at me.. had also told a few close friends.. I was admitted into hospital at 28weeks with various complications and DD was delivered by CS at 36weeks.. healthy.. (Thank goodness as when I was first admitted they only gave me a 3% chance of leaving the hospital with a baby!!!) She is now a healthy 10 yr old going on 15!!.

My second was 2days late but I had no inclining with him when he would come.. with this one I feel I wont make it to term.. hopfully will though.. 3 months to go till we find out!! All going well so far..

Good luck hun.xxxx

Yes - I knew from thes start that my son would be early. Sure enough I was induced at 37 weeks for various reasons. I think its odd how I knew and I feel almost relieved that others have experienced the same!

With DD1 I was 32 weeks when I suddenly got a bee in my bonnet that Children's World (that dates me a bit!) hadn't got my pushchair in stock yet, and was working out my contingency plan deciding that I knew someone who I could borrow a carrycot from - had DD1 2 days later!

With DD2 I decided that I had to take DD1 out straight after school to get the latest Harry Potter DVD as she'd need something to watch at the weekend - got home, waters broke, packed her off to auntie's!

I did, i said all the way through i'd go early.

DH was a premie at 7months gestation and both my brother and I were a fortnight early, so the odds on me lasting to full term weren't that high, Lol.

DS kept us guessing though, and towards the end i did begin to wonder, but i was right - he finally appeared 5 days early.

Hello! i was thinking about you yesterday, haven't seen you on here for a while. I knew ds would come early as I had had a bad pregnancy with blood pressure problems. i was induced at 38 weeks, so he didn't have much choice in the matter Hope you are feeling better, you are nearly there!

bumperlicious · 06/05/2007 20:32

Hi trace2, hope you are doing ok. I don't know if it is wishful thinking on my part but I am convinced this little one will be early. Will let you know i I am right!

PurpleLostPrincess · 06/05/2007 23:03

I'm afraid I went against the grain! I went over by 8 days with DS1 and was convinced when having DD1 that I would have her early. But I was wrong and I also had her 8 days late...

Amiable · 06/05/2007 23:12

I was convinced from very early on that DD would be early, and told quite a few people (so I had witnesses!) - she turned up at exactly 39 weeks, so not hugely early, but it still counts!

Gemmitygem · 07/05/2007 16:46

Yes, felt he would come a bit early, and he came one week early at 39 weeks!
