Think I'll put the kettle on and open an easter egg!

Mrsjaffabiffa · 04/04/2007 17:01

Oh Oh, Yey for Octo......................; how exciting, From accross the water, I have paté, brie, goats cheese, french bread and some grapes and a bar of Milka.

Mrsjaffabiffa · 04/04/2007 17:09

octo · 04/04/2007 18:09

Yes - just had a bath, some garlic & chilli olives, green & black choc and small glass of red wine at the ready! So good mixture for both sides of the channel LOL!

Off to chill out for a bit more - will post later

Picnic rained off - at the moment don't care when he comes just as long as not 19 April at 10am!

lulumama · 04/04/2007 21:31

oh well.....you know that baby will come at the most inconvenient time, and if you do go into labour during the appeal might push them in your favour!

octo · 04/04/2007 21:37

Can you imagine ???!!! Imagine the conversation:

Appeal panel man: "So Mrs XXX, what reasons are you putting forward for your appeal ... ((WHOOOSH)) - oh dear, oh no, are you alright, someone get a towel - oh dear, are you alright Mrs XXX???? Errr would you like help to your car, is there someone we can call, do you need an ambulance, oh dear ...."

Mrs XXX: "is that a yes or a no then???"

Katy44 · 04/04/2007 21:40

And stand your ground (water gushing etc) until it's a yes!

lulumama · 04/04/2007 21:41

yes, definitely katy44 !! if you have not had the baby, and you go to the meeting, fake it !

Debbsyandson · 04/04/2007 21:45

bein nosy now sorry what appeal

octo · 04/04/2007 21:48

ROFL at fake it - do you think it would work - could easily look uncomfortable but shoving a ballon up my jumper and sneekily poppping it with a needle at the appropriate time may be tricky!!!

debs - my sons appeal for school admission has come through for 19 April - we have to go and present our case!

octo · 04/04/2007 21:49

water in balloon obviously - a loud pop from just a balloon may freak them out for a moment but may get rumbled!

lulumama · 04/04/2007 21:56

just suddenly clutch your tummy and groan a lot ! less complex !

Debbsyandson · 04/04/2007 21:56

lol oh i see good luck with that

octo · 04/04/2007 21:58

yes probably a better plan lulu!

The other day the phone rang and someone said "Hello, my names Lulu ..." - nearly fell over - thought shit, they've found me! then realised the lady was still talking and was not you, atleast don;t think it was you, unless you live in a place called Freshford!

lulumama · 04/04/2007 21:59

LOL! no, i don;t and my DD is lulu, not me !

tee hee ! funny when mnet intrudes on rl isn;lt it!!

mind you, i shall look you up, next time i am in bath !

Debbsyandson · 04/04/2007 21:59

rofl laughing re phone call

octo · 04/04/2007 22:03
