NormaStanleyfEGGcher · 28/03/2007 16:10

Afternoon all

NJ - that sounds scarey!! Glad little george is feeling better (I am presuming he is?)

I never bothered with the massage thingie either lulu.

NatalieJane · 28/03/2007 16:46

He is fine now, asleep peacefully, nice and cool, no problems, I on the other hand, haven't slept a wink, I am still shaking, and I am all cuffuddled...

I rang my mum (and cried, as you do when it's your mum!!) she said when they were little her sister used to get convulsions because of high temps and she wonders if it is a family thing.

I just can't believe how poorly he looked, and how quickly he got there, one minute he was fine, the next he was unconcious.

Anyway, what is the matter with you people, have you not got kettles?? I suppose I'll have to do the brews, again

frumpygrumpy · 28/03/2007 18:29

octo, like everything else I cook, my recipe is basic but tastes good. I will post it for you in about 4 months, you have enough on your plate.

frumpygrumpy · 28/03/2007 18:30

lulumama · 28/03/2007 22:09

Debbsyandson · 28/03/2007 22:22

ooooh debbsy pitches her tent again(( hugs)) just think every bh/contraction is bringing you 1 step closer to your baby hmmmm i wonder who told ME that back in dec lol xx

Debbsyandson · 28/03/2007 22:26

it was lula doula dont worry she will look after you she is fab xx

octopussyinyummyeastereggs · 28/03/2007 22:27

What is quite sad already is that when do get regular contractions - I feel no excitement at all - just think 'bloody hell, sleepless night again!' and because of this will probably end up with an unplanned homebirth or in an ambulance!

Hello
Being nosy....again
can i join in the wait please?

octopussyinyummyeastereggs · 29/03/2007 09:54

Nothing

Nothing at all, apart from more sleep deprivation!! Heading back to bed now ... zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Is it the baby the decides when he has had enough or is their some kind of hormone change - or does he trigger a hormone change?

Octo, I don't know how many times I wrote a post like that, believe me you will one day be able to look back and smile.

I found clary sage oil and the RLT really did get the contractions going so maybe they would be worth a try?

Oh and bouncing on a birthing ball my waters popped after and hour or so bouncing on it

octopussyinyummyeastereggs · 29/03/2007 15:38

Thanks!

Had mega 5 hour kip!

I am starting to think the longer he stays in the better now - the 19th or 20th April would be good - so boys will be back at school/playgroup! also am not sure am mentally ready for this baby at all and ds2 is not a happy little bunny at all - has started wetting bed and waking up - he says he doesn;t love mummy because of the baby DS1 is a bit older and is fine with it all - quite excited - but poor ds2 is not at all.
