This is so exciting, and the sun hasn't come up yet!

The sun's well up here MKG, but why are you up? What time is it there?

Ooh I'm all excited for Debbsy and also really feeling for her.

Rosydingdongmerrily · 10/12/2006 11:59

phew

MKGnearlyimmaculateconception · 10/12/2006 12:00

It's almost 7am, the sun is rising, but still in the early stage of it. I woke up at 6 to get dh off to work. The man can't set a clock, or make a cup of coffee to save his life. I though since nothing happened yesterday, something would happen today, so on a whim I checked in. I didn't think it would be this exciting this early.

I could never be a doula! My nerves are wrecked just from reading that as it was happening, I need acup of tea! I hope she has a positive birth.

I've been a birthing partner three times and felt so completely and utterly useless when it came to it- hopefully didn't let it show though. Hated seeing close friends in so much pain- can't imagine what husbands and partners go through.

MKG I've been up since 7am too, even though I was also rudely awakened at 2am by DH returning from impromptu night out with BIL. They did invite me but I was feeling particularly grumpy and pregnant last night after cleaning up after two sick cats all day. Debbsy's progress has cheered me right up!

WoW! I let the kids on the puter for an hour and it all kicks off!!

So excited for Debbsy.

I remember being very frightened with my first labour.
You have no measure as to how painful it's going to be, so can't guage when to ask for help.

I was determined to labout at home til the last minute.

I though the time had come at about 4am after 16 hours of labour at home. I was absolutely convinced I would walk in the hospital and start pushing.

When they examined me I had only got to 4cm and she wasn't born til 9am!

Good luck Debbsy. Can't wait to hear all about Bibby!!

Im in West Yorks Lulu. I got so cold because when I went out at 6.30 there was a decent frost and I wasn't properly dressed. Silly mummy as DD said when she saw my purple hands!!

MKGnearlyimmaculateconception · 10/12/2006 12:32
