Nothing much happening is there?

Or do you think that's a good sign and means they're all off doing far more important things, like bringing babies into the world.

Debbsy hasn't been back since this morning. Poor girl must be exhausted!! No sign of Natalie, I hope she managed to get something sorted for her ds without too much worry.

Just had a look. Debbsy hasn't been on since 10.55am. I wonder if she woke from her nap with more contractions??

I'm tempted to call the hospitals in the area.

Wouldn't it be funny if I called NJ's hospital room and said, "NJ it's MKG, we're worried what's going on"

the maternity ward won't give you info though, you're not a relative. I've emailed her, it's her dh's address I think, so even if she's not up to looking at email, her dh may be up to it, esp if he goes to the computer to send out any birth announcement emails?

Tham: Yes she is here but not taking any calls. Would you like to leave a message.

Me: Yes, please tell her that mkg, lulu, lg&T, and the rest of gang would really like to know what's happening, and if she could get online soon it would be very much appreciated.

can't take much more of this !!

we need a plan and a search party...MKG can do the phoning as she is the furthest away, me, lVT&B and 2nd time can grab our torches and head for accrington

if and when i do my real life doula-ing, at least i will be able to SEE the mother!

Yes we do in Scotland.

Only very recently, we have little tv's but you have to buy a coin to make it go. I am sure they have phones attached onto them.

We only had couple for ££ when I was there, so watched half of GMTV then came home.

i cannot believe i am considering phoning round maternity wards in accrington, pretending to be a stranger;s sister !!!! although how much of a stranger NJ is after all of this, !

just want to know she and LO are ok x

No wonder no one likes the hospitals over there. In my hospital room, I had private bathroom, telephone (pay for long distance calls), tv, mini refrigerator. It's like a hotel room.

Lulu, we know more about her cervix than the average person. I don't have these conversations with my own sister. When my nephew was born I didn't know the hospital's name, so I called every hospital in the city to find her room.

hello im here just very tired beeen napping most of the day still got pains on and off.Dh just brought me some lovely flowers bless him he paced those corridors with me all nite last (god i do love him)just going to have a bath

Debsy are you anywhere near having that baby? If not, have you made your list of punishments for him/her. By the way do you know what you're having?

Wannabe..there are 2 or 3 hospitals she could be in .....(googled ..want to know she and LO are ok....)

debsie sorry to hear you're still here (((hugs))).

if you send me an email [email protected] then I'll send you back my mobile number and your dh can text me as soon as bubs has arrived so we don't all have to have sleepless nights as well too lol. and of course I could just post that bubs is here and leave the name/weight/details of the birth for you to post later
