Choc Dips are vile.
I think they taste like cheap easter eggs melted down.
Yuck ,Yuck. And those tasteless little twigs you get to dip in. Thats a sick green face, not envy

lulumama · 07/12/2006 20:50

there are two or three hospitals she could be in, st mary;s too far

i was born there however !!!

i hope she is having her baby, being induced, or had the baby and waiting to be discharged......something definitely afoot for her not to have posted for this long..

I'm such a worrier. I hate not hearing anything for so long.

Surely she would have got DH on the case by now?

wannaBeOnTopOfTheChristmasTree · 07/12/2006 20:54

choc dips are lovely, but haven't had one for years! mmmm i want one now!

really hoping nj is having the baby now, or waiting to be discharged.

debsie's got my mobile number now, so if anything happens with her she can let me know without having to come online.

lulumama · 07/12/2006 20:54

if she has gone in unexpectedyl, logging on to mumsnet will not be on her DH's top ten list of things to do !

HappyMellowmas · 07/12/2006 20:55

Maybe she is being kept in with BP or swelling? hmmmmm

I just know I will wake tomorrow and this thread will be gone and I will NEVER find out, anything, ever.

Well

wannaBeOnTopOfTheChristmasTree · 07/12/2006 20:55

yes I worry too, more so after an experience with a friend, but best not go into that on here

lulumama · 07/12/2006 20:55

wannabe..do let me know if you hear anything `!!!

wannaBeOnTopOfTheChristmasTree · 07/12/2006 20:57

no, and even if she tells dh to log on, he might not consider it important. dh's don't think the same way we do, I know if I told my dh to log on to mumsnet, he'd probably think I was nuts, lol

satinshoes · 07/12/2006 20:58

Lets hope she's sat in hospital all cross at being monitored, or that the baby has been born happy & healthy already.

christmas2NDTIMEmistletoenwine · 07/12/2006 21:03

That's what I mean Lulu.
If all was well and no worries, I'm sure DH would log on, or NJ herself.

NJ. I hope youe are ok and are too wrapped up in your lovely baby to let us know.xx

lulumama · 07/12/2006 21:04

it has been only a day since she was going for the sweep.....too early to be panicking....

twelvedaysofchristmas · 07/12/2006 21:05

Took AGES to catch up. So sorry you didn't get anywhere Debbsy.

WHerever you are NJ - thinking of you.

christmas2NDTIMEmistletoenwine · 07/12/2006 21:11

Your right NJ. Some women labour for days. Or weeks, NJ.

To lighten the mood, I bumped into an old neighbour today. She was with her sister and 11 day old twins. They were divine and I asked what they were called.

The sister said,"This one is Floella and that one is Lucinda",

Do you think it was rude of me to let out a big snort before I managed to say "oh, lovely"?

I really though she was kidding. But the straight face said not.

christmas2NDTIMEmistletoenwine · 07/12/2006 21:13

No, no not NJ, Lulu! again.

christmas2NDTIMEmistletoenwine · 07/12/2006 21:16

I bet they're mumsnetters!!

If you are, sorry. Beautiful babies, but they are dodgy names and it's not too late to change them.

christmas2NDTIMEmistletoenwine · 07/12/2006 21:17

I am single handedly dragging this thread towards 1000.

satinshoes · 07/12/2006 21:18

you are making me laugh at the same time

christmas2NDTIMEmistletoenwine · 07/12/2006 21:21

Good satinshoes. I'm glad my mortification amused you.

christmas2NDTIMEmistletoenwine · 07/12/2006 21:38

Erm..Lulu.....Your RL name isn't Lucinda is it?

christmas2NDTIMEmistletoenwine · 07/12/2006 21:39

Or worse, you're not my old neighbour are you?

BudaBauble · 07/12/2006 21:39

No news then?

Or are you lot too busy eating and drinking to pay attention

Am off to bed soon - hope NJ is OK.

christmas2NDTIMEmistletoenwine · 07/12/2006 21:42

Because Lucinda on it's own is ok. Lucy is lovely and Lulu is cute. But Lucinda and Floella!! Come on.

lulumama · 07/12/2006 21:44

LOLOLO! No...my RL name is boring...lulu is my DD , hence i am lulumama ! i have no imagination......!!!! my DS is sam, so i could be lulusammama, but lulumama sounded better !!
