I know it has been done 1000 times before, but if nothing else I just want something to do with myself while my body decides what it is going to do.

I felt fine all day, got to about about 5 o'clock-ish, and very suddenly started to feel sick, didn't want to eat dinner but DH made me eat some toast which perked me up a bit, have been having fairly mild but intense contractions (can you have mild and intense at the same time?!!) with a tiny bit of back pain, coming every 8-10 minutes or so. The contractions aren't painful, but just really tight, and the baby has dropped really low.

Anyone who has followed the last 5 weeks with me, this is completely different to every contraction I have had before!

I actually feel really silly posting this, in case it turns out to be nothing, but I am bored and can't concentrate on the telly, so thought it would at least take some time up.

Good morning everyone, I'm glad to see nothing has changed. I'm feeling better and ready to spend the day with y'all.

NatalieJane · 30/11/2006 13:51

You lot are bloomin' fruit cakes!!

Well I went into town, have made a nice big dent in the christmas list, a huge great big dent in DH's bank account (and my own ) and have managed to pull just about every muscle in my belly!! Really shouldn't have kept shopping when I couldn't carry any more, but if a bit of ovedoing it gets this baby shifted then it will be worth it!

I had a lovely fresh ham salad roll and a chocolate muffin for lunch in my favourite cafe, it is run by the campest, gayest, funniest man I have ever met, he is such a sweatheart, always cheers me up, and I always leave with a smile

I am going to catch up with the Nov. thread and then go and try and hide all these pressies, no idea where I can put them that DS won't find/see, we always used to put them in the spare room, but it isn't spare now...!!

MarsLady · 30/11/2006 14:07

Well as you're not likely to give birth before mid Feb... you could always stand in front of the pressies. No one will see them!

lulumama · 30/11/2006 14:08

LOLOLOLOLO!

MKG- help yourself , i made loads...and there is some left over mac & cheese ( see i can talk american!!!!) too !

NatalieJane · 30/11/2006 14:09

LMAO

And I don't think I'd even call it a waddle anymore, more of a shuffle....!!

I am going now to hide these pressies, this rate I'll have tham stuffed down my coat when I go to get him from school!

lulumama · 30/11/2006 14:12

we have it once a week at least, MKG...it is DH;s favourite, never mind the kids!! it is one of the only things babylulu has consistently eaten!!! she is a horror for not eating!!! bless her...!!

largeginandtonic · 30/11/2006 14:19

Hello all, have had forced exclusion this morning, Hugs did something to the computer and i couldnt log in....it was very frustrating for a while there.

So no news then NJ, glad you are doing your xmas shopping, it would be no fun leaving it for 2 weeks and having to go out with your little bundle.

MKG i love cabbage patch kids, so does my sister and dd, over here (backwards obviously) we can only get the regular kids, hair covered newborns and cornsilks. I would like a preemie or bald baby with a dummy are they still available there ar have they died out everywhere? I just love the smell of them, have you ever whiffed one? LOL

MKG · 30/11/2006 14:21

My mom just made mac and cheese with lobster the other day. I usually put a little ground beef in so it is more of a meal in a bowl. MMM.

My ds is the total opposite of your dd. He eats anything you put in front of him. It doesn't matter if it's super spicy of piping hot, he swallows and opens his mouth again.
