I know it has been done 1000 times before, but if nothing else I just want something to do with myself while my body decides what it is going to do.

I felt fine all day, got to about about 5 o'clock-ish, and very suddenly started to feel sick, didn't want to eat dinner but DH made me eat some toast which perked me up a bit, have been having fairly mild but intense contractions (can you have mild and intense at the same time?!!) with a tiny bit of back pain, coming every 8-10 minutes or so. The contractions aren't painful, but just really tight, and the baby has dropped really low.

Anyone who has followed the last 5 weeks with me, this is completely different to every contraction I have had before!

I actually feel really silly posting this, in case it turns out to be nothing, but I am bored and can't concentrate on the telly, so thought it would at least take some time up.

That's ok. Whenever I hear English accents I always think that the person must be fancy.

You could always go with Kirby. George Kirby Oliver.

MKG · 26/11/2006 01:43

George Harrison Oliver, are you beatles fans?

NatalieJane · 26/11/2006 01:45

I don't think I have ever come across Kirby, will add it to the list of possibles!!

DH doesn't like Harrison, and TBH I think that could be as much a cause for the micky taking at school as BO!

Do you have a favorite relative? I got Robert because my dad passed away the week after I found out I was pregnant, and the last thing I told him, that I know he understood was that we were going to have a baby.

MKG · 26/11/2006 01:50

If our new baby is a boy his middle name will be Diego. Sebastian Diego Garcia. I like the painter Diego Rivera. My name for ds was very intentional, and this one is very much a whim.

MKG · 26/11/2006 01:52

Geoffry or Benjamin,

NatalieJane · 26/11/2006 01:52

Yes, his name is John, but we don't like George John, John George is nicer, but we wouldn't want his first name to be John. George is my DH's dads middle name, Harry and Patrick are my grandads names.

Other than those three neither of us have many male relatives really (which is weird considering we will have 2 boys!!)

I am sorry to be rude, but I am going to have to go and get into bed, I can barely keep my eyes open now!! LOL

Thanks for the name ideas though, and keep 'em coming, we need all the help we can get!! Have a good day xxx

That's like me. Most of my cousins are girls, and I only have a sister. Ds was the first boy born into my side in about 30 years. When we found out I was having a boy, my mom and I looked at each other and had no idea what we were going to do with a boy.

MKG · 26/11/2006 01:55

Good night, I keep forgetting it's not 9pm there.

NatalieJane · 26/11/2006 01:56

LOL Nope, it is 1.56am

Have a good night then if it is only 9!! xxx

MKG · 26/11/2006 11:58

Hi NJ I hope you are feeling better.

Lulu, Thanks for calling me lovely, that was very nice. I have a web cam, maybe you can be my doula via internet. Do you think that counts towards your 4?

Back to names:

George Christopher (I like that one!)
George Patrick
George Andrew
George Michael (no, that would be cruel, due to his legal troubles)

lulumama · 26/11/2006 20:19

i really think she will be pregnant for ever..

MKG - apologies if ytou have already said, but where in teh US are you?

NatalieJane · 26/11/2006 20:24

Nope, Lulu is right, no news is no news, I will be on here as soon as anything happens I am fairly certain that my body is actually stopping anything happening because of this flu, I have stopped having contractions, still weeing loads and loads of pressure at times, but it doesn't feel like something is going to happen soon.

I have spent the whole day either in the bath (because it is the only way I can rest my back properly) or asleep, and now I am going to go and get back into bed!

Enjoy the party girls, I am hoping it won't be too much longer before I am up for a party myself!! G'night xxx
