Hospital baby bag - is 0-3months ok?

Is it ok to only take 0-3 months vests and baby grows to the hospital?

Or should I really be going out and buying newborn, first size, one month etc?

Trying to save money so I can get the most use from things but also what if I buy, and wash a load of newborn etc and I have a big baby?

Will baby look ridiculous?

How about getting a couple of nighties? You can get newborn nighties in Mothercare I think. Then it wouldn't matter how long they were.

I do agree that newborn size is probably wise, I had DS 6lb 5oz and DD 7lb 4oz and found newborn size big on both of them.

I got quite a few sleepsuits and vests from a charity shop for 20p each, if second hand is your thing?
