Duchesse, yes the midwife said he was the tallest she'd ever had. Problem is people think he's older than he is so expect more of him. I have to keep saying "he's only 2".

Layl77 · 18/01/2014 20:43

Not always but it is much more likely.
Mine got heavier each time

IShallCallYouSquishy · 18/01/2014 20:43

I hope not!

DD 6lb 13oz

I was hoping this one would be smaller. I'm going by what happened to my mum, my sister (older) was heavier than me when born.

2 friends just had 2nd babies, one was heavier than first, one lighter so it's anyone's guess really Wink

CarlaVeloso · 19/01/2014 04:57

My second - a girl - was 1lb 6oz lighter than my boy.

Only in labour for an hour with ds2 though, so the extra 3oz didn't slow him down!

jamtoast12 · 19/01/2014 19:14

2nd was 1lb lighter both born on due date. However I ate much better 2nd time round and gained much less weight through choice...still 7.6 though

QuietNinjaTardis · 19/01/2014 19:41

Ds was 8lb 14oz and dd was 8lb 2oz. Was still absolutely huge with her though. Looked like I had a beach ball down my top.

weaselm4 · 20/01/2014 09:28

1st 41+6 7lb 11oz

2nd 37+2 7lb 6oz.

I was induced with both, so if I'd of gone over again he would of been heavier.
