And would like to keep me company? Am 40+2 with no3 and whilst was happy for bubba not to come early, id really rather have liked her to come by now! Very grateful to be feeling well and sleeping well but impatient to meet her and could have introduced her to a lot of lovely people this weekend had she have come by now!!!

9cm having an hour for the extra cm then an hour for head to move down, then pushing! Really nervous!

Hello can I join? 40+4 on Monday when i have sweep booked. Tried acupuncture induction today (Sunday, just) so hoped that help.

Last time I had both sweep & accupuncture on same day at 41w & ds arrived day after.

SPD a killer this time so trying to get dc2 out earlier.

It sucks being overdue. I particularly don't like having to tell everyone who asks when I'm due - 'last Thursday' grrrr

41 weeks here and still no movement. At this stage with DD my waters had gone and I was about to be induced so feeling thoroughly fed up now

Been getting contractions for a few hours now. They are very sporadic, could get a couple in 10 mins but then nothing for another 30 mins. Hospital said to come in when I get 2 in 10 mins so I'm a bit confused.

DP is on his way home and trying to make arrangements for DD. Eeeek!

Baby boy born at 7.30pm tonight. Contractions came minutes apart quite suddenly and made it to the hospital for 6pm. Was 5cm when they checked me so must have gone to 10 cm within another hour. Had him in the water which was lovely. Totally different to my first induced labour!

Congratulations!! I've been awake for an hour timing period type pains every 3-4 mins at the mo but totally bearable so I'm a bit in denial still.

Lovely baby boy cuddles here! Born 2:45am on 27th. Couldn't progress past 9cm as he was back to back and his head was in the way unfortunately. So I ended up with an emergency C-Section - but all worth it! I'm in a bit of pain but he's just perfect

Massive congratulations Tonks! Feel for you having gone through 90% of labour and then having c section. No wonder you are feeling sore. Make sure they are topping up your drugs

Have barely slept all night. Hospital is amazing, all private post natal wards and baby boy snoozing like an angel but I think I'm too full of adrenalin

Pains not doing much here, I've slept through a lot of them while dh looks after DS for me. Will get up in a minute and have a bounce on my ball etc!

Hi everyone, I'm due today and think that things are actually starting to happen(typical as this was the one day I assumed nothing would). Had a few cramps through the night and then out of nowhere started getting really strong contractions every 5 mins from 10.30. Rang midwife and as this is my first have told me to stay at home for a while. I'm hoping this is the real thing because they are so painful and I thought I was pretty tough! X

I'm very jealous Karen. Nothing happening here and I'm so fed up now.

Hows it going Karen? On my first the first 3cm took forever but after that they came on really quickly and we only just made it to hospital in time - 20 mins!
Lastnightopenedmyeyes are you progressing a steady pace yet? Hope so.

No I don't feel like there's any progress, I'm very achy and sore but I have been like this for 2 weeks anyway!

You sound how I feel. I at the stage where im fed up of hearing myself moan!!! Im 38 weeks tomorrow and tossing and turning in bed is proving to be hard work.
But......... It will all be worth it in a few hours for you, fingers and toes crossed you dont have long to go now.

No I have a 3yo DS bouncing off the walls too :)

He was induced at 42+1 though, so no experience of natural labour...

I'm still at home, contractions are now lasting a minute and coming every 3 mins so hopefully going to head off in a minute.
