PS. I had an episiotomy too and found that taking arnica tablets really helped with the healing process. Hope you're not too sore.

YAY you've come back So happy for you and your DH and Eleanor is a beautiful name (I also love Katherine) but the only thing I was right about was the gender

Now you take care of you, as happy mum = happy baby. Lots of rest when she does, good food, lots of fluids and definitely lots of gorgeous baby snuggles. Oh and another, let your DH help as much as he wants/can as I didn't with my DD and exhausted myself (felt guilty as DH was working weird hours and thought he needed more sleep than me)

Congratulations all over again, and welcome to baby Eleanor. DD's middle name would have been Katherine (she was born under a picture of Katherine Hepburn) but there's a 'th' in her first name so we went with Katrina.

Stick some lavender oil in your bath, is my advice. And enjoy being home.

I had an episotomy as well; had to stay dosed up on paracetomol for a week or so and found sitting quite painful at first. Hope you're recovering well and enjoying snuggles with your lovely baby girl.
