I think this is the best thread in a long time and I hope nickel remembers to print all 3 out.

they're working on a primip response of 1cm per 2 hours, which means they're expecting the baby at 9-ish.

it really is getting too much for me now - i am feeling soooo much pressure down below whenever there's a contraction, which then eases off to a feeling of tightenings (but oh MY GOD! the tightenings I was feeling earlier now seem like pulling on socks than contractions!
it's like every slight change, the previous nasty one feels like a medium one in this stage.
I've found new settings on the tens, which I was worrying abotu not being enough - every time I think i'm at the top of the elvel, i find another setting.
what half an hour ago felt like i was being electrocuted now feels lovely

It's all very strange.

I hada contraction about 15 minutes ago that felt like i was being punched in the crotch.
and ow ow now gotta go, it fucking hurts!

Just remember, for every contraction you have, that is one fewer to go.

Nickel, go nickel go! Oh I remember those contractions -ouch- they do hurt like nothing else but believe me you won't remember then once that baby comes! i now just want to find out what ISBN is!!!!!! Go Uterus!

You're doing a marvellous job, nickel - and well done for managing to update us in the midst of labour. Fingers crossed (but not legs crossed) that the next few hours pass swiftly and not too painfully for you.

Delurking to mark this thread - 11/12 is a great day for a birthday - its DH's birthday and his mum's and his grandma's. DS only missed making it 4 in a row by about 2 weeks.
