Ok well im so fed up with this now so basically i had a bloody show 11days ago for 3 days then it stopped for a day then started for a day then nothing till last night when it started again but bit heavier. Every time it starts midwife says it means im starting but nothing ever happens.

Im starting to think this baby is never going to come.

Not much point to post really just fed up :(

[ever-so-slightly cheesed off emoticon]

bambinoblue3 · 06/06/2011 10:47

Oh frida he'll come out soon, what's the plan with you now? Are you booked in for induction?

OP posts:
sasamaxx · 06/06/2011 11:06

Frida he really will be here soon.
When I got to hospital i was 5cm dilated so all those days of contractions had been doing lots of good work - bet it goes quickly for you so chin up.

frida75 · 06/06/2011 12:15

I'm supposed to be having a home birth so want to avoid being induced, got another stretch n sweep on weds so hopefully that'll do the job.

I think Ive become agoraphobic now - can't bare the thought of seeing people and having them say "you still pregnant??"... It's bad enough with texts and facebook!

I'm glad I've 'met' you two on here tho, it's great to know that birth does eventually happen Grin and get a bit of moral support

bambinoblue3 · 06/06/2011 14:32

I really hope he starting being a good boy and makes a appearance soon so you get your home birth frida

Facebook is the devil. when i was in labour my SIL put it on facebook so everyone knew and i just turned phone off in the end. I wasnt pleased. I understand people are excited but if they know whats best for them they should just leave you alone :o

sasa hows your brand new daughter? I still keep forgetting Alfie is here till he makes a noise, hes not feeding properly, got bad jaundice and has a eye infection so got doctors appointment for tomorrow. These babies dont give you a minute to enjoy them before the worries start. Hes still amazing tho :)

Its been nice knowing i was going through this with both of you, some times other people just dont understand and nice to be able to come and have a rant or moan. So thank you both. x

Hope things have moved for you frida

frida75 · 09/06/2011 08:36

Hey, nothing here still Sad am really despondent now and have stopped leaving the house because I can't face seeing anyone. Messages on Facebook telling me to hurry up are making me so cross and I've decided that anyone who sends me texts or messages that piss me off won't get a text saying the baby has been born!

had another s&s yesterday which felt for a few hours like it might do something but nope.

Seeing acupuncturist today and another sweep on fri - so desperate to avoid induction and hospital. Got induction booked for 14th...

It's weird, but I feel like I did for the first 20 weeks of this pregnancy after the 4 miscarriages, totally switched off and numb. Almost like I'm undoing the bond that I had to try so hard to build with this baby because I was too scared to care about it.

Sorry this is such a miserable post! I'm unravelling a bit here!

sasamaxx · 09/06/2011 14:07

Oh ((((frida)))) Sad - you sound so down and fed up Sad
Don't even look at facebook, and I don't blame you for not going out.
I know you must feel as though it's never actually going to happen, but it so definitely will, and then you will have your tiny, beautiful brand new boy to cuddle. I really don't think you will still be waiting on the 14th (my daughter's birthday btw Wink) but to keep things in perspective, it is only 5 days away - even though I know each day is like a month just now.
Get lots and lots of sleep - I got none last night and am like a zombie today.
Get a good film tonight - good luck at the acupuncturist and let us know how you're feeling later on xx

bambinoblue3 · 09/06/2011 18:43

Sorry your feeling so fed up frida. Hope the acupuncture done something for you today and i have everything crossed that he will come before the 14th so you can have your home birth.

I'll be thinking of you. xx

Thank you both Smile

I do feel better having had a big blub on the phone to my mum, think I've probably needed a good ol' cry all week to be honest.

Also DH took me for lunch and a lovely waddle on the beach in the sunshine.

Told acupuncturist to do her best/worst/unleash hell - never been so desperate for impending agony to start in my life!

Thank you again x

sasamaxx · 09/06/2011 21:01

So glad you're feeling a bit better - I think we'll all be cracking open the champagne when you pop this baby out.
Have you written a birth plan?

bambinoblue3 · 10/06/2011 14:36

I think a cry always makes you feel better, i done a lot of crying in the last week before he was born and glad your DH is spoiling you.

Hope as i type this you are in a lot of pain or cuddling your very stubborn baby boy.

OP posts:
frida75 · 10/06/2011 16:39

Guess what? ... I'm still waiting Angry

Although I am 2 whole cms now and cervix is softer and stretchier than on weds. I'm also having showy type stuff happening so hopefully that means I'll avoid hospital.

I wonder if it's some psychological block because I've been trying to keep a baby in for so long I can't let it out!

sasamaxx · 10/06/2011 20:25

That sounds promising!
And definite progress since Wednesday - your body is just getting into gear for running this marathon. Have a glass of wine tonight - it's Friday!! Smile

sasamaxx · 12/06/2011 22:16

Just checking you're ok frida

bambinoblue3 · 13/06/2011 08:10

Still thinking about you frida. I keep comin back to check for updates, hope he's here and your just to busy to update. X

sasamaxx · 13/06/2011 12:41

Me too bambino

frida75 · 13/06/2011 14:14

Finally! He's here! Stanley was born at 00.52 last night in hospital. Did most of it at home but he was spine to spine and labour slowed right down and I had a bit of a freak out and wanted more drugs! During the very bumpy half hour ambulance ride he turned and I had him within 12 minutes of getting to hospital! Didn't even get the chance to get on the hard drugs Grin

I may have taken the longest but do I win the prize for the heaviest? 9lb 10oz? ... So thats what happens when youre 11 days over due Shock

WE DID IT GIRLIES!! YAY US!! x x x
