Ok well im so fed up with this now so basically i had a bloody show 11days ago for 3 days then it stopped for a day then started for a day then nothing till last night when it started again but bit heavier. Every time it starts midwife says it means im starting but nothing ever happens.

Im starting to think this baby is never going to come.

Not much point to post really just fed up :(

I just said to DP that i have to get up early tomorrow before he goes out so i can have a shower and when i explained what they actually do giving a sweep he looked a bit sick haha.

Let us know how the acupuncture goes, never had it but im intrigued.

Your message sasamaxx was hiding from me. I dont feel any closer to labour now just very sore after all the cleaning and bending over.

And if another person says 'any sign' i will punch them :o

Good luck ladies.

Oh yeah - or if they said 'you still here?' or 'any twinges' as well Angry

I'm finding the baby movements are pretty sore as well - think the uterus is tender or something.

bambinoblue3 · 30/05/2011 18:40

Ive found the movement quite sore for a while, like he has really sharp bones and even a little turn seems to really hurt.

The things we go through for these babies. Good job you forget all this once there here.

sasamaxx · 30/05/2011 19:34

That's for dang sure

bambinoblue3 · 31/05/2011 09:56

Hi well midwife appointment was not nice, hes still not got his head in properly and the fact ive been having bloody shows for 12days and nothing has happens means i'll probably end up with anther section at the weekend. Really upset over it :(

frida75 · 31/05/2011 10:30

You never know bambino things might still kick in naturally. I thought 2nd and subsequent babies didn't always engage, sometimes not until labour starts anyway, but I could be wrong. Good luck and I'll keep everything crossed that things go your way x (Everything apart from my legs obviously)

bambinoblue3 · 31/05/2011 10:47

Haha yeah don't be crossing your legs or baby cant get out.

Yeah they don't usually engage but its something about the way his head is, she said she could feel it was in place a bit but could still move it so its like he hasn't got his head tucked under and the fact ive had bloody shows which usually indicates your cervix getting ready but nothing has happened means its probably unlikely. suppose i'll find out properly on friday with consultant.

Any signs for you? (im allowed to ask since were in a race)

Nowt. Don't actually feel even remotely ripe to be honest...

Just got back from the acupuncturist and she did lots of weird stuff to me including little gold balls stuck on to pressure points inside my ears!

My dh is desperately trying to finish off the slates on the roof of the extension we've just had built so I told her I want her to bring labour on but not too quickly!!

sasamaxx is quiet... do you think she's won!? Grin

bambinoblue3 · 31/05/2011 13:58

Well hopefully something will kick in for you as soon as the last slate is put on. I feel the same though, don't even feel close to going into labour.

ooo maybe sasamaxx is in labour. I don't mind who has the baby first now, i just want proof that they actually do come in the end.

Im off to try convince the kids that they want a nap or just a nice quiet time movie.

OP posts:
sasamaxx · 31/05/2011 16:31

You two still here then?? Grin

I had a rubbish midwife appt too - head is 'free' and they won't sweep in that case apparently.

Sorry about your bad news bambino lol at wanting proof that they actually do come in the end - that's exactly the way I feel like just now.

I am soooooooo grumpy and fed up - been having period-pain cramps all day long but no proper contractiony pains.

Tried to find clary sage in every shop I could think of in my town but nowhere sells it Sad

Really feeling desperate now - I've taped one born every minute from sunday night and can't bring myself to watch it as I'll be so jealous of people actually going into labour

bambinoblue3 · 31/05/2011 19:00

I tried to watch one born the other night but it just got me more annoyed.

I've calmed down now and accepted the fact that I'll probably have c section, suppose as long as he's healthy that's all that matters but still terrified of a planned section this time and gutted I won't have my natural birth :(

I'll be thinking labour thoughts for you both so come on let's see some babies. :)

Don't give up hope yet bambino
You're right tho - we just want them out and healthy ultimately.
I am so hormonal today - never was a patient person but this is the pits.
Hope one of you has gone into labour Smile

frida75 · 01/06/2011 16:51

I'm hormonal too! Gone from feeling quite chilled yesterday and feeling like 'what will be will be' to really bloody grumpy today. Mostly because dh is still slating the roof leaving me with 2ds (8 and 5) who are bored out of their skulls.

Just had midwife do a stretch n sweep so Ill be doing the birth ball bounce for a while tonight Smile

Maybe we'll all have them at the same time...!?

sasamaxx · 01/06/2011 16:55

lol maybe we will frida - hope your sweep wasn't too uncomfortable

bambinoblue3 · 01/06/2011 18:09

Im a grumpy mare as well so looks like were all having a off day.

I have everything crossed for you frida.

Ive had quite a lot of bloody show and really sore pelvis but i can feel him swimming around quite happy with his head free so im in pain for nothing. Even a section is looking quite appealing right now.

Any signs for you sasamaxx ?

OP posts:
sasamaxx · 01/06/2011 18:31

Rubbish bambino

No signs for me either

bambinoblue3 · 01/06/2011 18:38

Ive just had a big massive pain that i had to breath through then nothing. Think i need to just go to bed and wake up in better mood.

So much for our bodies knowing what to do the more kids you have, were are our babies.

OP posts:
bambinoblue3 · 01/06/2011 18:43

Ive just had another big pain. My DP is going back out to work at 8 so he best make him mind up if this is just another false alarm or not.

OP posts:
frida75 · 01/06/2011 19:12

OOooh! Bambino!! Sounds like this could be it! Sending positive vibes your way Grin

Do either of you know what you're having? I'm having my 3rd boy ... and this ones gonna be like his dad ... always late!

bambinoblue3 · 01/06/2011 19:25

Well just had a few more big ones and lots of plug come out so my body does know what its doing its just baby that doesn't wanna come.

I'm having a boy as well. We had cvs so have known since 12weeks so feels like forever now. I've already got a boy and girl so both boys can look after there sister. Sounds strange but I actually wanted another boy.

Have you picked his name yet?

OP posts:
frida75 · 01/06/2011 19:47

Stanley, after my grandad who died at christmas. We haven't told anyone in real life were having a boy though.

I reckon a few more of those contractions of yours and your boy will get in to position ... and all systems go!

bambinoblue3 · 01/06/2011 20:08

Ahh thats a lovely name. Were calling him Alfie James. James after my brothers baby who sadly was stillborn in January at 20weeks so it means a lot to us and my brother. Think thats why im so nervous this time because there has been so many sad things happening this pregnancy so just want him out and healthy.

Pains are in no set pattern so think its another false alarm so im sitting her eating a huge bag of maltesers and playing nonsense games on facebook to distract me.

Do you ever wonder what you did before mumsnet haha.

OP posts:
frida75 · 01/06/2011 21:04

Thats a great name and a lovely way to remember your nephew. I can understand why you want your baby to come soon and healthy. I had 4 miscarriages before this pregnancy and these things really rock the whole family don't they? I'm anxious for there to be something positive for everyone to have and enjoy.

Dito with the mind numbing games, dh has suggested we call the baby Tetris instead Grin

bambinoblue3 · 01/06/2011 21:15

Your so right, a baby is such a nice positive thing for the whole family and even though they are driving me crazy with the messages and phone calls i know its only because there excited.
