Ok well im so fed up with this now so basically i had a bloody show 11days ago for 3 days then it stopped for a day then started for a day then nothing till last night when it started again but bit heavier. Every time it starts midwife says it means im starting but nothing ever happens.

Im starting to think this baby is never going to come.

Not much point to post really just fed up :(

Just out of the bath. They are at around 8-9 mins just now. Was hoping the bath might slow things down until morning but not sure. Have taken 2 paracetamol too so hoping to get some rest. Hmmm

bambinoblue3 · 04/06/2011 09:19

Well I'm in labour 5-6cms and on gas on air wooooo.

Go Bambino! Show them contractions who's boss!

sasa did you get rest? Or did baby come?

Still nothing to report here... Kids are off to a birthday party at a soft play place this afternoon so I'll be on the bouncy castle if you need me!

Very excited for you ladies! x

sasamaxx · 04/06/2011 09:54

Wha hay Bambino - v jealous.
frida contractions became much milder at 5am so got a couple of hours sleep but now up and hoping they pick up speed again.
So so sick of this Sad

bambinoblue3 · 04/06/2011 10:58

Waiting to get checked at half 12 but they think he'll be here by half 2. Pains still not regular but there doing there job.

Hope your both doing ok.

sasamaxx · 04/06/2011 12:32

Fab bambino - I'm about to have a shower and then head out for a walk to try to get things moving again.
If the pains come back, even if not regular, I think I'll head to hospital to find out what exactly is happening - it seems as though they will never settle down.
How are you today frida?

sasamaxx · 04/06/2011 12:36

If one more person phones/facebooks to ask if there is any news, I am going to kill someone [sngry]

sasamaxx · 04/06/2011 12:36

lol that should have said Angry

sasamaxx · 04/06/2011 19:29

Hope bambino has her baby now Smile

frida75 · 04/06/2011 21:27

Any news girls??

I'm having proper tightenings now and again but I don't believe them... They may just be the result of the fact that I've just eaten my body weight in BBQ food Grin

Baby is moving around so much and it's so uncomfortable, huge pressure down below that makes me wince

sasamaxx · 04/06/2011 22:21

Not much here frida - very very random contractions.
BUT I have now had a couple of big blobs of show so that must be progress....???

I reckon bambino must have a baby now Envy

My friend was due in 2 weeks and started having pain at 5am, went straight into hospital and had the baby at 12 - not fair Sad - if that's not adding insult to injury, I don't know what is.

bambinoblue3 · 04/06/2011 22:46

Hi just a quick one. He came at 6.06 after everything going wrong and just shot out but is fine. He was 8lb5 so a chunky monkey.

Good luck to you both, will pop back when I get a minute.

Congratulations Bambino!!! Welcome to the world Alfie James x x x

Sasa You must be feeling pretty tired now - hope things start properly for us both soon!

My tightenings only come if I'm upright so I'm going to try and sleep now so I expect they'll disappear again...

sasamaxx · 05/06/2011 05:08

Wow congratulations bambino - hope you are both recovering well Smile

Knackered frida - painful contractions started again at 3am but 10 mins apart so too far apart to mean anything. Agony though. Hope you're getting some sleep tonight.

frida75 · 05/06/2011 05:47

Morning sasa I'm knackered too. All night, If I lay down I have the most painful heartburn that makes my eyes water and if I try to sleep propped up the contractions, although not mega painful or regular keep me awake so I haven't slept.

So weird that we are all having these stop/start labours and contractions that don't seem to do anything - at least bambino has proved that a baby does arrive eventually!

sasamaxx · 05/06/2011 05:53

It must be a 3rd baby thing - our babies must be on the way. I mean they MUST be surely! How long can this go on?

I wish they would give you gas & air for in your house to deal with this kind of thing.

frida75 · 05/06/2011 09:53

Just had diarrhoea again. It's like bloody Groundhog day here.

Mine haven't been strong enough to want G and A yet but I've wondered about using my tens machine but I don't want to use my options up if this is going to go on for days and days.

Its hard to know what to do isn't it? Whether to get really active to try and move things on (but possibly knacker yourself out in the process) or rest and relax as much as poss because at some pont we are going to go in to ACTUAL labour!

bambinoblue3 · 05/06/2011 10:12

Right here's my birth story. Sorry for awful spelling but just copied and pasted from a messaged I texted to my friend.

Right were to start. Stopped dilating then they found out he had head stuck wrong way an nearly gave me section but then they let me have drip but he didn't like it and started to drop his heartbeat, pain was unbareable an said I wanted a section an started pourin with blood then midwife said it cud b a sign I was dilatin so I said I wanted drugs an she was shoutin at me to get on left side coz his heartbeat was droppin again then I had to push an she checked an I was fully dilated but he was still droppin heartbeat then he just started comin before she cud get another midwife or doc in then he was born blue with cord wrapped all round his body. His heads all squashed an he's full of mucus coz it was so fast but he's perfect.

Omg bambino how absolutely terrifying that must have been for you - so glad you are both ok now and tut experiencebis behind you!

You've explained exactly how I feel frida about just not knowing what ok earth to do. I think I have more loose stools on the way. Managed to get a bit more sleep, dropping off between contractions which are still here but v irregular and now not as strong as they were during the night.

frida75 · 05/06/2011 10:19

Crikey Bambino that sounds dramatic! So glad both he and you are ok. Hope you're being fussed over Smile x x x
