Ok well im so fed up with this now so basically i had a bloody show 11days ago for 3 days then it stopped for a day then started for a day then nothing till last night when it started again but bit heavier. Every time it starts midwife says it means im starting but nothing ever happens.

Im starting to think this baby is never going to come.

Not much point to post really just fed up :(

Is a 'show' not the hindwaters breaking? I thought it was - if it is doesn't that mean that they would induce you?

Im confused as usual Confused !!!

bambinoblue3 · 01/06/2011 21:24

No i had a bloody show which is the blood vessels in cervix bursting as your cervix softens and dilates. You can have a normal 'show' which is your mucus plug coming out.

And yes its very confusing. This is DC3 but first time i've ever experienced this.

Ooohh that really is exciting bambino - keep us posted.
Fab names and fab reasons for names.
I don't know what I'm having - have a boy and a girl just now. Also have no idea about names lol.

Sorry about your Grandad Frida and your nephew bambino Sad
Well I've had my nightly rose and lavender bath and it has once again failed to put me into labour so I'm off to bed - hoping that I am woken up in full blown labour at 4am..........
........yeah right Wink

bambinoblue3 · 02/06/2011 07:47

Happy due date to me. Still no baby but I've very tender today so whatever the pains was last night they done something.

Every night I go to bed and say to DP that I'll wake him up at 3am in labour, he doesn't believe me anymore.

Hope both of you are in lots of pain right now or holding your babies :)

Mornin! No pain and no baby... Had a minuscule mucusy blob, not bloody, bought on by the s+s I guess but thats it!

Sending dh out with kids today to try and tempt fate!

bambinoblue3 · 02/06/2011 09:25

Oh I'm so jealous of your childfree day. I have a 4 1/2 an nearly 3 year old driving me crazy but there both sick so have to let them have a little moan.

I had a little cry when I got up because my pelvis is so sore an hurts to walk but hoping its because he's finally getting his head in right position. Consultant tomorrow morning so see what he says.

I'm excited for your show, any signs a good sign. Fingers crossed for you :)

I have DH at home for part of the day today as well, but it's probably just as well after my complete meltdown yesterday morning.
No pain and no baby today either - longing for long, excrutiating contractions.

Hope you get more show frida
Happy due date bambino - mine is tomorrow

bambinoblue3 · 02/06/2011 10:54

The kids are playing in a tent in the living room so least there entertained for a little bit.

Its nice to know im not the only one having a meltdown because felt quite silly this morning but my DP just rang to say why dont i order buggy board to cheer myself up so looking for a playmat as well now :o he'll be sorry he let me loose with the card.

I have convinced myself im not even pregnant anymore and just ate too many cakes so will one of you please have your baby :)

I've got diarrhoea!!!!!

Now there aren't many complete strangers who I'd give that info to so count yourselves honoured ladies!

...Nowt else has happened tho...

bambinoblue3 · 02/06/2011 14:22

Well I never thought someone telling me that would make me excited.

I've got awful pelvic pain and just had loads of plug come out after lots of pressure so don't no if his head is in position and the pressure is making it come out.

Fingers crossed and legs open for us all.

OMG you two - I WANT DIARRHOEA AND SHOW!!! Envy Envy Envy

I don't mind - honest - will just be pleased if something happens to at least one of us soon.

bambinoblue3 · 02/06/2011 16:51

I've decided I'm gonna beg for my c section asap tomorrow. I'm in agony and don't know how much more I can cope with, he's just bashing his head down and its not going in. My DP just came home and I didn't even say hello just that I was going for bath so now I'm sitting in bath just trying anything to soothe it (on phone not got laptop in bath) just needed to have a moan because my DP gets enough of it.

I have quite a high pain threshold and have never had any pain relief in labour before so that's how I know this is bad because I could kill for gas and air. :(

frida75 · 02/06/2011 18:00

Sounds like you need something to help with the pain, you've been having them for a long time. You must be exhausted. Have you got a tens machine?

This afternoon I got a text from a friend congratulating me on the birth of my daughter last tuesday!??? If that's not rubbing it in I don't know what is!!!

sasamaxx · 02/06/2011 21:33

That sounds horrendous bambino - will they let you go in tonight for some pain relief?

lol frida

frida75 · 03/06/2011 10:26

Happy due date sasa unless you've had your baby!

Hope you've found some relief bambino either drugs or babys arrival Smile

I had ONE contraction last night! just the one mind... going for a long walk today. Getting bored now!

bambinoblue3 · 03/06/2011 10:55

No baby yet but turned out my pains were contractions, just going to see consultant now and see what he wants to do.

Some maybe baby soon.

Hope you both get moving soon. X

OP posts:
bambinoblue3 · 03/06/2011 15:59

Well i seen consultant and im 2cm but can stretch to 10cm and she could feel babys head so fingers crossed i can have my natural birth. Contractions are between 6-10mins so still not regular like last night but getting worse and lasting longer after my sweep so just a waiting game now.

hope you both have some progress to report as well :)

OP posts:
sasamaxx · 03/06/2011 16:18

Bambino that's great - it sounds like it's all happening for you now. Keep updating to give us hope.
Hope your walk got something happening frida

Had cramping pains all day which have felt very like contractions but far apart, weak and irregular so they will probably stop soon.

frida75 · 03/06/2011 17:25

Bambino thats great!! And so pleased you'll hopefully get the natural birth you want.

I'm walk was very uncomfortable and my pelvis felt like it was about 6 foot wide! Came home and fell asleep for 3 solid hours which is more sleep than I've had for weeks at night time! I think this baby it going to wait until my big boys are back at school... they are so noisy and over excited I think they've frightened it!!

sasamaxx · 03/06/2011 17:32

lol frida although at least if you go into labour now you'll be well rested Grin

bambinoblue3 · 03/06/2011 19:05

Its getting a bit unbearably now, can't believe I have been begging for this to start but will all be worth it when I'm holding my baby.

frida really hope your walk has done the trick and things start soon.

sasamaxx hope your pains become more regular.

OP posts:
sasamaxx · 03/06/2011 19:23

Whoah I have been having really painful tightenings for a good while now - they are around 10 mins apart tho and not very regular but it definitely feels like things aren't too far away now.
bambino when do you think you will head for the hospital??

bambinoblue3 · 03/06/2011 19:42

I was getting close to going in but on my ball and it feels amazing and I'm like you and there not regular at all just awful and lasting longer.

We might have our babies on same day :)

OP posts:
sasamaxx · 03/06/2011 19:51

lol we might just - I'll get the ball out as soon as the kids are in bed. Mine seem to range between 6 and 12 mins apart

bambinoblue3 · 03/06/2011 20:07

Mine have suddenly cranked up to every 5mins so were getting there.

Oh its so exciting. Come on
frida just you now.
