EHU Tenting Virgin..please explain it to me

We are off camping end of October with three kids in a Vango Orchy 500, we have always previously been fairweather Spring/Summer campers so thinking we may need some night time heat (aswell as thermals, hats, tights etc)so have booked a pitch with EHU

have looked on internet and am bit confused about the type/length of leads the prices seem to vary a lot and not sure how long a lead we will need..it will only be to run an electric heater (is that a 'normal' thing to do ?)

Need MN campers advice as to whether it is worthwhile and if so how to do it ...

If you're looking at the length of lead from tent to ehu post, I would get the longest you can afford - we ended up once having to get two cables and join them as we were too far from post. Having said that, some sites will hire them out if you don't have a long enough lead. We then had an extension to plug normal things in - we did have a fan heater as well as it helped keep canvas dry.

Thanks Mystery...didn't know whether fan heaters were a No-No so thats good to know, better save up for the 25m one then !!

Some sites say no electric heaters, so it's best to check before you go.

would def recommend it for autumn camping ! You can get get small campng gas heaters too so you don't need EHU
