Hi. It's my first day of going back to calorie counting in 2/3 years. I was 389 calories over. I'm not sure what I could have cut out.

So deflated.

I'm not sure I'm doing it right. I know I shouldn't put I had a tiny bit of butter.

It seems so high for what I ate.

Thank you.

@PurpleDaisies

Have you tried phoning test and trace? If you haven’t tested positive, you don’t need to isolate.
Yep phoned twice. They said I do / did.

Hi there , it looks like your doing the nutracheck app . Your dairy is set to combined which is designed for people who already do a lot of exercise so you given 1200 cals but expected to eat back another 200 cals so really you have 1400 cals a day . Go to your app and up at the top there is a blue box with white lines go to this a chick on diary preferences and go to daily totals and change setting to separate this will give you a minimum of 1400 cals a day but might be more depending on how much weight you have set to lose per week. This way the deficit you need is already calculated and you don’t have to exercise if you don’t want to but counting steps is a good one . Once I changed to separate I went on to lose steadily each week. Hope this is helpful. Sorry it’s a long post . Also go to the forums and lots of posters there to give you tips . Good luck x
