I am on day 3 today. I have hit protein 2 days but not today. Ive brought protein shake form myprotein and have 1 shake a day plus add it to my morning porridge. I havent done the workouts but done 20000 steps mon tues and 18000 today. I did bodypump monday and 3 mile run tonight to get my steps up

Angbunnyboo · 24/02/2021 21:54

I've been struggling with protein but I've decided as long as I can hit my cals and do my best at protein then I'll be happy with that.

It's all about calorie deficit so I'm concentrating on that. And to be honest its really working, I'm chuffed!

Hi I've joined Team RH this week and after the faff at the start linking My Fitness pal it's working well. I am struggling with the fibre goals.

It's a shame the app dosent link to Nutra Check as in my experience it's so much better and more accurate than MFP.

Coulddowithanap · 10/04/2021 08:45

I follow them on Facebook and log my calories on mfp and try to hit protein and fibre levels every day (although obviously I don't know what team RH would say my allowance is just go by what's in mfp). Also do 10000-15000 steps per day, sometimes a lot more.

I've lost 1lb a week when I stick to it which is a healthy loss. (I only have half a stone to lose)

Cliff1975 · 27/04/2021 07:49

I am doing this really believe in it. I have a lot to loose (around 10 stone) and have dieted loads before(short term success. I have upped my exercise from nothing to 5000 steps a day. I have been doing it nearly 2 weeks and have only lost 3 pounds which was at the beginning and now the scales aren’t moving so disheartened, any tips?

How many calories are you eating? Are you hitting the protein and fiber goals? I think RH Fitness recommend doing over 10,000 steps, sometimes over 15,000.
Bigfatpicnic · 30/04/2021 11:59

Would teamRH be any good if you wanted to lose 12-14 lbs? And keep it off. It’s the keeping it off I struggle with.
I think my head needs educating in eating a balanced diet. I try to stick to 1200-1400 kcal per day, but nothing is shifting.

Bigfatpicnic · 30/04/2021 12:01

@toomanyplants

It's a hell of a lot cheaper than SW/WW Or a gym membership. Lots of information available, and coaches get back to you fast if you have questions. I can live with £6.99 a month, and am giving it a good go. As to your question....ask me in 6 months and I'll give you honest answer 😃
Oh, I’m interested-how did this work out for you? Honest answer appreciated.
ChunkyMonkey2020 · 02/05/2021 18:22

I find preece nutrition much better then RH.

He's an ex RH colleague and left and set up on his own.

He's cheaper then RH.
Yeah you don't get an app but it means you don't have to use MFP.
You don't get locked into a contract.
You can choose the plan that suits you best.
You can choose how many steps you want to do and your calories will be tailored to that.

What you do get is an unlimited amount of support from him. Any issues, he's always there replying via voice message. He's an actual diamond.

No judging. No sweary rants. No been called lazy if you can't hit 15k steps a day.

I'm 12 weeks in and I'm 2.5 stone down.

I will take a look at that.

What do you track your calories on if there isn’t an app and you don’t use mfp?

ChunkyMonkey2020 · 03/05/2021 12:28

I use nutracheck. I find it much better then MFP.

1983Roxy · 07/05/2021 20:24

Team RH teach the right principles but I would never ever give them a penny of my money again, I personally think they are bullies (the owner is in my opinion). Caught out playing victim a few years ago when he did a live about not going on holiday with his partner, but was going on a boys holiday literally less than a week after his video. Tattle forum on them has opened many people's eyes.

James Smith gives his calories for free and runs challenges to go to Bali (albeit more expensive for the challenge).
