How sad does that title sound? Grin Any mfp users here? I've had the app for a long time, but yesterday I joined the gym and completed my first workout. My food is going to be far from perfect (especially for the next month) but I'd do so much better with support. Don't want to let my rl friends know what I'm doing.

I was thinking the same this morning Raptor - I like seeing what everyone is up to!

How is everyone getting on? I played badminton for the first time ever this morning with DH and the kids (teens). We all really enjoyed it - I think I might be a weekly thing. And blimey I was sweating (because I'm not good and have to do a LOT of running! Grin). I'm pleased though as I'm meant to do 5 workouts a week and I think I can definitely count it as one of them!

Badminton is a little above my speed Grin I'm a walker (DH got me a load of audiobooks for xmas, so I've put the first one on my phone as something to listen to while I'm pootling along).

Food's going OK, I tried very hard not to overbuy at Xmas and it seems to have worked out, we're very much back into the daily routine now. Although DD(16) got a lot of baking stuff and made some really nice lemon curd biscuits this weekend (I didn't resist - but I've logged every single one).

I've got a dentist appointment tomorrow (lost a filling) so the big plus side is I'll be too numbed up to do any snacking Wink.

My exercise bike arrived and has now taken up residence in my bedroom; I’m quite enjoying it!

As for food, I have planned what I’m eating this week and have prepared my lunches (fritatta!) for the week; I’m going to freeze it and take it out each day but not sure how best to do that!

Going to start logging my calories for each day so as to not have the hassle every time!

clandestine that is so, so organised. I'm pretty much winging it at the moment with food - it must be nice to start the week already on top of things!

I’m doing ok. The kids go back to school on Thursday, so I can start walking in the afternoon again. I’ve been eating ok but not logging on MFP. Will try and do it tomorrow.

Really pleased with how it's going so far. Lost 2.8lbs since new year on 1650+ I've tried and failed many times but feel that I'm in the right state of mind at the moment. Makes a huge difference.

Hi all I started this on Monday....going ok so far and that's just muddling through with the food we have in, desperately need a good healthy food shop! my MFP name is the same as my mumsnet name if anyone would like to add me, I would love to see how everyone else 'manages' their calories and get some inspiration/support from you all?
I have a good stone and half to lose, hopefully before the end of May!

I did this when I lost my baby weight in May 2016 I lost 4 stone by sept 2016 but have two back on! 😭😭 I was doing slimming world but I think calorie counting and logging exercise works best for me so I'm starting today with MFP again good luck everyone!!
