How sad does that title sound? Grin Any mfp users here? I've had the app for a long time, but yesterday I joined the gym and completed my first workout. My food is going to be far from perfect (especially for the next month) but I'd do so much better with support. Don't want to let my rl friends know what I'm doing.

Just posting so I remember to come back to this when the children are in bed. I am currently having 1700 calories a day as I’m breastfeeding.

I've changed mine so I get more calories now to get a loss of 1/2lb per week. If I feel I'm restricting myself too much I'll eat everything in sight

Mine’s 1220 that’s to lose 1lb per week. I’m 5’3” and 11.5 stone. If I knock it down to 0.5lb a week I can have 1450. I try to do a couple of days a week under the former and the rest under the latter. It’s not too bad if I run cos you earn so many more calories! I usually do it on Sundays so I can have a roast.

Today I’m only on 1100 but that’s because I got up so late that I didn’t have any breakfast Blush

Wow! So many replies. I've accepted everyone who has sent a request on mfp. I haven't gone through this thread properly yet, though I will. My plan was to get myself organised by next Monday, but this week me and Dh have decided to separate. We have 2 young children so trying to get ourselves sorted for them first and then will be able to deal with other stuff. Though, this may still work out to be a good distraction technique!! I will definitely be following everyone on here in the meantime!!

I’ve thought of a goal. I had to have my wedding and engagement rings cut off over a year ago as I wasn’t allowed to wear them for work and my fingers were too fat to get them off BlushMy goal is to get them repaired and back on my finger.

Can I play? I'm ReluctantRunner75. I'm 5'10" and a 16-18. I'm allowed 1800-2000 calories as I'm hitting the exercise hard (5x a week) and I'm struggling with the macros - apparently I need to keep my protein levels higher and carbs lower but I'm vegetarian and finding it tricky!

I have just discovered edamame beans - I'm buying expensive but lovely graze bags full of them mixed with other high protein beans and seeds. I still need to increase my intake but they are definitely helping!

I have an old injury that flares up every so often - I've been seeing a personal trainer to get back into exercise safely after years of physio/sports massage on my poor leg, and I mentioned I'd seen a Bounce class advertised that looked like fun. He looked at me like I was mad because apparently if I can hurt myself so badly jogging, jumping around on a trampoline is not a good choice! Grin

You can buy fresh edamame beans In done leaves too, and the Co-Op even do a little tub of them with soy sauce which is one of my favourite snacks!

Need to go healthy food shopping my house is full of junk. I've not had breakfast today as I've woke up late so lunch was an omelette. Well half as my child pinched the rest haha. They do come in handy after all....
