I started on Thursday. I'm just under 5ft 3in and currently weigh 9st 10lb.

Pre pregnancy I was 8st 7lb so would like to shift a stone or just over.

I'm finding the tracker really good.

Came in at just under 1200 calories yesterday but felt quite satisfied.

Aiming for 1200 again today. Used 254 at breakfast on 2 boiled eggs, 1 small slice bread and a cup of tea (no sugar and just a bit of skimmed milk).

Drinking water to try and resist the urge to snack but finding it quite hard!

I tend to do a walk with ds in the pram each day and am doing some sit ups/squats to tone tummy and thighs.

I hope this works!!

I've stalled after losing about 1 st at 1550 calories. It cut me back to 1430 and since then roughly I've stopped losing weight. I find it really hard to cut back on food to that extent and began getting the type of migraine that happens when I don't eat enough. I also started to feel lethargic and get dreadful cravings that hadnt happened on 1550 cals. So I've decided to eat a bit more to feel better and see what happens. I'm naturally heavy set anyway so perhaps I'm just not designed to be any lighter at my age. I'm 11 st now. I feel really greedy now looking at some of you managing on 1200 cals. Shock Exercise wise I try to do park run most weeks and go to the gym once in between for 5k treadmill or cross training and weights. It's all I can manage time wise for now. If nothing else MFP is a great tool for making you look at what you're eating and I have learned a lot from it.

Struggling the last few day's..went off track at the weekend and finding it hard to stick to today..1200 calories seems like very little some days..and I've only got 450 left for the rest of the day now. Eek.

I am now struggling to EAT 1200!!! Have not been hungry last few days. Really hungry when I'm in from work but once I've eaten SOMETHING I'm fine. Have been doing this for a month and was hungry to begin with. Have finished day on 1050 before exercise.

I had the Mirena put in on Monday and I'm already feeling a difference. I'm hungry all the time. Resisting so far as I don't want to be one of their statistics on mirena weight gain. Feeling pretty miserable right about now though :(

I started MFP in January and since then have lost 1st 7lbs. It really does work and Stealth is right! I don't beat myself up if I go over on my budget slightly. Occasionally I have 1500, not exactly planned but if it happens I don't get upset. As long as I've really enjoyed whatever it was I ate and I still lose about 1lb a week then I am happy. It's not good to see food as the enemy. It has made me realise how much I used to eat before though!

Good luck to everyone :)

What I will also add though is that I don't tend to add my exercise details into MFP because then it tells me I can eat more which confuses me and I could very easily overheat by doing that. I don't exercise for long periods, usually do a section of Vicky Pattison Dvd, Davina Fit in 15 or if I'm feeling brave il do 30 Day Shred.

DarlingBudsOfMay · 19/06/2014 10:17

Cheer up Queenie as long as you are aware of the pitfalls you should be fine. Using the tracker on MFP is really interesting to keep a check on how much you eat so you could use that to keep an eye :)

trikken · 19/06/2014 11:03

Am doing the same but with noom rather than mfp as I prefer it. Have done a few weeks without adding it to noom tjough as im pretty good at knowing what is right but back to adding to male sure im not tricking myself im eating less than I am. No weight gain though but don't want to start bad habits again.

Hi everyone, can I join you?

I've been trying to shift a stone since having my DS (nearly 3 years ago!) Was going to start on 1300 cals but as you're all doing so well I'll join the 1200 club!

Starting tomorrow, I'm 5'8", currently weigh 11.9 stone. Aiming for 10.7.

If anyone has any good vegetarian recipes please let me know! Thanks.

Bproud · 20/07/2014 18:20

Hi Furryturnip, I am planning to start again tomorrow as well, want to lose a few pounds before my holiday at end of August, will check in with my starting weight tomorrow.

My main aim is to cut sugar consumption and try introducing some veggie juices instead.
I think I can manage on the 1200 cals since I do a lot of exercise and will eat back some of the exercise gains.

I will be happy to PM my MFP name to you if you want to 'friend me' on there.

loudarts · 21/07/2014 15:42

Hi, can I join too. I'm 5'2" started at 12.7 stone after 2 weeks am down to 11.12. Hoping to get down to my pre children weight of 9 stone by Christmas.

Bproud · 21/07/2014 20:39

Well done Loudarts, that is a big drop already.
I weighed at 11 stone this morning, would like to lose about 7lb if possible. I am under calorie goal today, as I had a longish walk, busy resisting a chocolate treat at that moment...
