Hello. I am wondering which electric hands free breast pumps are the best. They are so expensive and so many different ones. I just want to get a good breast pump that will work.

They are all utterly useless imo. Have you been pumping already or is this an advance purchase? And is this for sole pumping or just for the occasional up around breastfeeding?

If you are pumping exclusively then I'd hire a hospital grade pump which is quick and easy. They deliver the same or next day and you can give a moments notice to stop the subscription when you're ready. I think it was Medela I used.

The hands free ones that are super expensive and supposedly fit under your t-shirt whilst you go about your business are fucking crap and only get a tiny drop plus they fall off. They are a complete scam and a total rip off. I tried 2 and they both got sent back straight away.

Sorry can't edit on the app - that should read "occasional top up"

I had to pump every 3 hours for 6 months and I really liked the Elvie - cost an utter fortune but I could go about life and get stuff done, pump on the commute to work, while working and while at home. I used a hospital grade madela at night as it was a bit quicker but I found I'd get about 75% the amount with the Elvie so definitely worth it. It's defintiely a bit trickier, sometimes leaks a bit etc but if you need to pump regularly, it's 100% worth it.
