Electrical breast pumps

Hi lovelies ❤️

I am pregnant with baby number 2 and looking for recommendations on the best hospital grade double electrical breast pumps. With baby number 1 I never planned to breast feed but as soon as he was born and placed onto me he latched on within seconds. I had not planned to breast feed so hadn’t researched breast pumps. The midwife advised me that my nipples were too flat and that I would be best getting a breast pump to continue. They advised me to get the medela swing so hubby got sent to boots and I went with it. I feel like I did do well with the medela swing but hated being attached to a plug socket and obviously this time around I will have a toddler and a new born.

So my questions -

are there better hospital grade pumps out there?

are there any hands free pumps that have just as good suction ?

What’s your recommendations?

TIA ❤️❤️

Did you decide which one to get yet @Sineadb88?

Sineadb88 · 17/11/2023 22:21

@ExplodingSmittens not yet unfortunately. I’m so indecisive. I have researched and researched and researched but there is just so many different ones. I’m considering going back to the medela again since I knew it worked for me and scared to spend a fortune on a breast pump and it turns out no use for me.

do you have any recommendations ? Xxx
