DD is only 4 weeks so i'm not expecting it soon but just wondered out of curiosity when it's likely to happen.

DS was ff and slept through at 8 weeks which i know was early. Do ff babies sleep longer sooner?

ds now 2 yrs old 'slept through' i.e. 7/8pm - 5am quick feed and back down til 7am for a blissful period between approx 4-6mths. He then woke twice a night at 2am and 5am til I nightweaned at about 16mo iirc. He then slept from 8pm-5am but didn't go back to sleep.

He now sleeps about 9pm-7am but does come into bed with us at some point in the night.

So if you count sleeping through as 7 hours solid - well he's done that since he was about 4months old fwiw I do NOT count that and would only say he has started to sleep through in the last couple of months i.e. since I don't have to go to him in the night!

DS1 - 12 months

DS2 - two and a half YEARS.

He is two and a half now.

I am on my knees.

DS2 is 20 months and still wakes for BF, I am sooo tired

Both DD's were 2.5-3, YEARS.

I hate anyone who has a bf baby that sleeps through under 12 months old, and despise those whose babies do it under 6 months

DD 3 weeks
DS 8 or 9 months

ds - 12 months.

dd - 8 weeks.

How's that for 2 extremes?

between 2-3 months.

depends what you think as through - I would put dds down in their cots at about 10.30-11 and from about 2.5 months they would sleep through til around 5-5.30. At around 6 months I'd start putting them down in their cots at 7.30 and then they'd properly sleep through til the next morning - basically I didn't expect them to do a 10-11 hour sleep until they started on solids.

Before 6 months I liked having them with us and we'd spend the whole evening feeding/sleeping with me and dp taking it in turns to cuddle dd/ eat some dinner. That's how we liked it!! Tho I realise some people are quite religious about putting them down and having an evening together.
