Shameless, aren't I?

Thank you, chaps. I love you all.

I like your blog, it's informative and full of passion.

Is MN the only place you've publicised it?

scorpio1 · 28/05/2008 10:59

your blog helped me get over my weird mindset to BF my third child when i had never done it before. VS linked it for me.

We are still going at 5 weeks exclusively despite thrush.

sallyforth · 28/05/2008 11:12

I liked it, but found the layout a bit confusing in my sleep-deprived state - it was almost information overload. Could you have a prominent button saying "Start here if confused" or "Don't panic" or "FAQs" or whatever?

areyouthereMNtismeMargaret · 28/05/2008 11:15

It's very informative & interesting I have bookmarked it .

aGalChangedHerName · 28/05/2008 11:17

Have looked at your blog before and found it really interesting and very well laid out.

Just had a trawl through all the pictures in the history of bfing. Wow they are fab!!

curlywurlycremeegg · 28/05/2008 11:22

It's a fantastic blog but maybe could do with a bit on tandem feeding and feeding during pregnancy, I know it has the feeding twins part but what about a newborn and an older child? Sorry if I have missed it.

hunkermunker · 28/05/2008 11:53

Please, please can you comment on the blog as well/instead of on this thread if you have something to say? I'd really, really appreciate it!

No, MN not the only place I've publicised it, but it's probably the place I'm "known" best. I've told lots of people in RL about it, I get hits from various forums all over the place - America, New Zealand, etc.

And Scorpio, that is fantastic - I can't tell you how happy it makes me to hear things like that Really hope you get the thrush sorted.

Sallyforth, will sort something out as you suggest - the blogs are a confusing layout, aren't they?

OP posts:
hunkermunker · 28/05/2008 13:03

Curlywurly, yes, will also add something about tandem feeding with different-age children. I know a bit about bfing in pg, but DS1 lost interest before I had DS2, so I'm going to have to rely on input from those who've tandem fed!

hunkermunker · 28/05/2008 13:39

I've edited the HM reference out of one of the comments - for reasons of RL/MN melding...

Keep 'em coming, please - all giving me food for thought - I know there are loads of you reading it!

hunker, I have been tandem feeding for just over a year and am also a midwife, would be happy to add some info if you were interested my email is info @ lancashiremidwiferypractice . co .uk (no spaces obv!)

aGalChangedHerName · 28/05/2008 13:52

I haven't tandem fed as dd1 gave up just before dd2 was born but a few months after i had dd2,dd1 started to have a few little feeds again and has one occasionally still at 3.9. I could add that somewhere if it might be useful.

I posted for advice here when dd1 was asking and i wasn't sure if it was ok to do so (daft i know)

Habbibu · 28/05/2008 13:56

Posted a very incoherent comment in feelings bit! Will think some more and get back to the "future" section.

hunkermunker · 28/05/2008 15:31

Curlywurly, I will email you.

Thanks again, all. More welcome!

Posted. Scorpio, You know how proud I am of you, just wanted to say it again

MarsLady · 28/05/2008 15:47

Hunker... you need to change the Dr Jack Newman link. It doesn't work any more. the videos are here now Found out today!

hunkermunker · 28/05/2008 15:48

Hot damn! Thank you, Marsy! [changes instantly]

OP posts:
hunkermunker · 28/05/2008 15:50

Just changed it - hope it works!

Thank you!

hunkermunker · 28/05/2008 15:50

(I know the links to the stats don't work on the About page, btw - the NCT site's changed beyond sodding recognition [really annoyed])

OP posts:
MarsLady · 28/05/2008 15:53

You need to go through your links again Hinker. The Baby Cafe link doesn't work either. Then I stopped looking because DT1 wanted a banana.

hunkermunker · 28/05/2008 15:54

Bugger.

Will do.

Thank you for letting me know!

OP posts:
MarsLady · 28/05/2008 15:54

I think you should add a link to the Children's Osteopathic Centre (London and Manchester) if you haven't already.

Ooh what about an article about CO? (or have you already done that?)

And have you done anything about food intolerances?

hunkermunker · 28/05/2008 15:56

I can't find a working link for Baby Cafe - they're all down!

OP posts:
hunkermunker · 28/05/2008 15:57

Can you post a link? [lazy oh yes lazy]

No, not done anything on CO - know next to nowt about it - do you know more? [fishes for content]

Have touched on food stuff - what did you have in mind?
