Where and why has she gone?

Carmenere · 02/04/2008 22:15

Me too

ComeOVeneer · 02/04/2008 22:16

WHy has she left?

Psychomum5 · 02/04/2008 22:17

she's gone???

nooooooooooooooooo....surely not.....

what have I missed?????

OracleInaCoracle · 02/04/2008 22:17

from what i can gather she got fed up of the militant/nazi/mafia references when she was just trying to help

could be wrong though...

I don't. She was such a friendly lovable mouse! Not enough fire in her.

You'd never find her ranting and raving about spoon feeding 3 month olds or demanding better bfing information for mums. She would sit on the fence when it came to the whole bf/ff debate.

And she had the cleanest mouth on her... never a cuss or a swearword. Nope, don't miss her at all!

fletchaaarr · 02/04/2008 22:19

if you think you can tempt back a lurking hunker that easily then you know nothing of the Munk

MarsLady · 02/04/2008 22:20

Owwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OracleInaCoracle · 02/04/2008 22:20

I love Hunker, I think I sent her a case of wine for being so witty after a glass or five two.

I want her back.

welliemum · 02/04/2008 22:21

It must be a bit boring to pour time, energy and compassion into helping others and then casually be told that you're militant and a nazi.

I wish she would come back though

S1ur · 02/04/2008 22:22

Or perhaps I will send her a case of wine if she ever came back...

welliemum · 02/04/2008 22:23

Nice try Mars

And I don't just miss her, I need her.

Who is she lurking as then?

harpsichordcarrier · 02/04/2008 22:25

oh every time I see a new poster on a bf thread I get all excited

weeonion · 02/04/2008 22:25

what a shame. i always thought she gave sound advice and was another mumsnetter to give kind, honest and impartial info along with alot of her time. Thsi all meant i stayed with the boob through dificulties.

sweetkitty · 02/04/2008 22:26

I miss her too

Do you think a "weaning spoons say from 4 months on so I'm going to wean my 3 month old as she's very advanced" thread would tempt her out of hiding? She loved a good weaning spoon thread.

harpsichordcarrier · 02/04/2008 22:26

it is blardy tiresome to have those kind of comments tbh
they do stick and they do hurt

Lulumama · 02/04/2008 22:26

me too
i meant to email her
and i forgot

so i will try to remember

but in case she is lurking,

hunker, you made me fight the good fight !

i got , like, you know, all political about breastfeeding, and stuff.

thank you

OracleInaCoracle · 02/04/2008 22:26

i read an article recently that stated that nestle formula has all the benefits of breast milk and more. it can make your child 76% more intelligent**taken from the blah blah encyclopedia of crappy crappness

Joking (and punching Mars) aside..

if she has left and for those reasons then that is very sad

She has been soooooo helpful, to so many people. Including me when I was BF and panicing about going back to work....

and so not a .... well ... any of those negative comments

Who said it?
