If she were still here and i felt like i did the other night i would have started a thread asking for a kick up the arse no nonsense bf plea for help to her.

I have just told her on facebook that she is missed. It's her ds's Birthday tommorrow he shares it with my dd.

I miss her. And am feeling particularly vile feelings towards the stupid thoughtless numpties who throw out accusations of "you hate formula feeders, you do".

Finding it very hard not to vent my spleen in their direction tonight.

Hunker is one of the biggest reasons why I am still bfing my 15mo ds2 having not managed to get past 4wks with ds1 and dd.

Hunker, if you're lurking, I just want you to know that you have helped to not only give ds2 the best start possible but restored my faith in my self and my body. Having failed to bf ds1 and dd I really thought I wasn't meant to be a 'breastfeeder'. I couldn't understand why I could get pg at the drop of a hat, have problem free pregnancies and deliveries but fail so completely to feed my babies. I was sort of resigned to it but there was always a gap there. I'd see bfing women and feel a pang that I'd never doone it. In a weird way I felt sort of incomplete, like a key part of my 'motherness' was missing.

Fortunately I discovered MN and all the advice, support and knowledge you (amoung lots of others) helped my to become a breastfeeder. I am still so bloody proud that I can bf, I want to shout at everyone 'Look at me, I'm BREASTFEEDING'. I finally feel complete and fulfilled as a mother and a woman.

So thank you. I, for one, would love to see you back. MN is a poorer place without you.

Please excuse excessive schmaltz - I'm a bit hormonal today (I still mean it though ).

It's not just that aspect of it. MN was really starting to eat into her RL (very selfish of her to want one IMO but there you go ).

She had lots she wanted to do and wasnt getting done, working full time, doing her blog and bringing up two gorgeous boys (Happy Birthday for tomorrow Hunker's DS1 )
