Hi!
I'm such an idiot. I just got an Elvie Stride pump. Set it up late last night while very tired. Misread cleaning instructions.
I sterilized it then used it but only rinsed parts in cold water after expressing letting it air dry then just used again this morning!
I was supposed to rinse in cold water, wash in warm soapy water, rinse cold water.
Shall I throw away the milk I just expressed?
Such a waste!

I think this is one of those situations where it's probably fine but nobody can tell you 100% that it's safe. Such a shame because it's horrible to throw away breastmilk!

Breastmilk has live cells in it which are actively fighting germs & pathogens therefore it can be stored much longer than formula & sterilising is not usually needed.

You might not need to sterilise your pump and bottles Blog explaining
