theUrbanDryad · 25/01/2008 18:07

is there a pod cast?

ILikeToMoveItMoveIt · 25/01/2008 18:08

What station is LBC?

hunkermunker · 25/01/2008 18:08

Yes, there should be a podcast. Might cost you £2 to download though, unless I'm on the highlights mini podcast

Talking about maternity services - and yes, Lapin, I mentioned my blog

Back later...boys...

I think this is a really interesting blog, sorry to interrupt (as a newbie) what might be a relaxed chinwag amongst friends...

are there any more blogs that are 'famous' - it just really adds depth to the info..

hunkermunker · 25/01/2008 18:40

Thank you, Pankhurst.

No, all welcome, especially if you say nice things about my blog

Do you mean do other MNers have blogs? Some do - Aitch's is probably the biggest www.babyledweaning.com

pankhurst · 25/01/2008 20:18

It's all so true - SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO true. How lovely to see it in glorious techicolour!!!!!!!!!

Back in a while.

Ledodgy · 25/01/2008 20:20

I listen to LBC as well but all through the night whilst bf rather than in the daytime so I didn't hear it!

MrsJohnCusack · 25/01/2008 21:20

who's on at 2pm now then?
(I subscribe to LBC podcasts for my reminders of lovely London, so I can listen to you!)

VVVQV · 25/01/2008 22:03

grrrr. Havent been able to get on to have a listen.

harpsichordcarrier · 25/01/2008 22:04

oooooooooooooooooooo
get you

hunkermunker · 25/01/2008 23:03

Ooh, MrsJC I'd be interested to hear what you think, actually. I'd been on the phone for ages by the time they came to me - had to wait for the news, adverts, last caller, more adverts, etc - was in a freezing cold car park, walking round the car to keep warm, while DS2 read a Mothercare catalogue ("Baybeeeeeeeeeees!!" "Awwwwwwwwwwwww, baybeeeeeeeeees!"), tapping the car windows with a bit of paper I'd written my main points on to make him laugh. If I stayed in the car, he shouted, "Hello, hello, hello!" endlessly - he likes speaking on the phone, but I figured the rest of London wouldn't find it as cute as Granny does...!

And it's Jeni Barnett on in the afternoons now. MUCH better than Alison "I have never had children, I smoke, I don't exercise and it doesn't seem I do much deep thought either" Bell

I've just downloaded the podcast to listen to...

OP posts:
S1ur · 25/01/2008 23:28

Ah hunker don't suppose you're some techno whizz that can download for the rest of us?

VVVQV · 25/01/2008 23:35

I'll have to come over to listen to that then........

hunkermunker · 25/01/2008 23:38

Nah, you have to pay for it. £12 for six months access to the whole lot though, so I'm planning on downloading lots of LBC progs and listening to them on the Tube

OP posts:
hunkermunker · 25/01/2008 23:38

Come now, VVV! I'll sweep the bed of crumbs and you can stay

OP posts:
VVVQV · 25/01/2008 23:39

Oh no, you dont want me at the moment. I'm horrible.

handlemecarefully · 25/01/2008 23:40

Were you eloquent and convincing?

hunkermunker · 25/01/2008 23:42

Ah, yes, good point.

I said "er" too much, Harpsi

But I made some excellent points [ever so 'umble] and was on for about six minutes, which isn't bad, I guess.

OP posts:
hunkermunker · 25/01/2008 23:43

Harpsi?! Harpsi?!

Sorry, HMC
