anyone ever switcheed from bf to ff or giving one bottle of formula a night glad they did it

as my dd is 12 weeks and im think now might be the time to try her on one bottle of formula a night

and wondered what your experiences where

Hello i dont know much about your previous problems but i can understand the constant feeding in the evening my dd is 11 weeks old and is very much the same.

Whats you evening routine like? as i bet your baby is just comfort sucking as babies like to do, you also say how well she sleeps at night this is why she is feeding so much for the strech at night.

I have introduced a bath at 6.30pm with a massage afterwards and a little play while getting ready for bed by 7.30pm i put her to the breast again and watch the evening telly untill she falls asleep while feeding.

Try putting her back on the same breast so your baby gets the hindmilk.

Regards to formula a coule of bottles wont affect it that much from week 2 - week 8 i was ff during day due to thrush in my breast and bf at night but now back on 100% bf. It does get easier and i know it seems like it wont.

Bath time is a great distraction and will relaxe baby even if baby cry's through it lol
