My baby is two days old and im planning on BFing. However milk not in yet and so I bought some formula to supplement. Of course all my midwives told me to get rid of it so I have. Tonight I will have no formula. Im managing to put her on my breast loads and she does suck but nothing much coming out and so I need more reassurance from people on here that she will be ok!!!

I just hate to think of her hungry and it's getting me down...

Oh and forgot to add - in my darkest moments of thinking I was just rubbish at being a mum, I found that breast-feeding in front of Jeremy Kyle helped...

I might not have been an alpha mum but at least I didn't have to go on national tv to find ds's father!

Edie, I'm glad things are getting easier for you

forget the housework, no-one cares as your visitors will only have eyes for yoour LO.

LOL at frc re the brightly coloured plastic as I survey one corner of my living room that has been taken over by various baby and child toys.

a little tip to add to the endless feeding n crying , sometime eddie maybe she need burping while she is still feeding i noticed this with my ds he wud be feeding and then removes his mouth from the breast wails ,put it back feed removes it n cries and wud be wiggling annoyingly sometime he bites n pull on the nipple ,so wat i do i remove the breast from his mouth and put him in the burpin position n then he wud let out an almighty burp 3 minutes later go on the breast this time relaxed,
or sometimes he does same wen he wants to sleep again i just take him off the breast n put him on my shoulder n he falls asleep, ahhh bless, try these tips my ds just turned 8weeks old
