Breastfeeding. Help.

Am breastfeeding my 2 day old. Milk is coming in, boobs are solid. She just about latches on. Feeding for less time than yesterday. When will boobs start to soften so she finds it easier to latch on?

First of all CONGRATS on the new baby! HOW EXCITING (must stop clucking)

Secondly, we have moved your thread to our breastfeeding topic where you're more likely to find other mums who've been in just your position.
My recollection of this painful solid part was that warm flannels helped too and also hand expressing helped as has been stated I think.
