Here's a fresh thread!

Let's start by introducing us/babies again Grin

R has had 2 little naps of 25 mins so far this morning and is having his mid morning feed now. Ds1 took his first steps over the weekend, the most he can do is 10 steps beside falling over, but it's a start! Grin

I wish mine would nap - he looks shattered but as usual won't go to sleep. Normally we take a walk which works a treat but my dumb husband has gone to work with the pushchair in his boot despite me reminding him twice last night to take it out Angry

That's great news about the walking!!! Let the trouble begin!!!

mrsmugoo · 15/09/2014 11:20

This one has had an hour's nap and another feed and is touch wood, content for the time being.

Cannotbelieveit · 15/09/2014 11:48

Napping again Grin I'm just chilling watching tv now.

ugh jealous you all had good night's sleep! ds went for two hours then awake every 1.5 hours :( He's had about 2 hours spread over 4 short naps since 7 am - he's sleeping really lightly today so just cuddling him.

I've been super hungry the past few days can't stop eating!

mrsmugoo · 15/09/2014 13:43

I've definitely had more than my fair share of crappy nights! 6 months in and I still feel like it's Christmas when I get 4 straight hours sleep.

Writerwannabe83 · 15/09/2014 15:24

Two naps so far today. The first was 30 minutes and the second was 45 minutes so not too bad. He's refusing to feed for done reason though.

Good news is that I've got an interview for the job I applied for.

Cannotbelieveit · 15/09/2014 18:33

Great news writer!

Ds1 is now a proper walker! Nice bday present for me (it's tomorrow) better than anything I could be bought GrinSmile

Just under 2 hours of naps today. Just having his last feed now.

Thanks cannot - it is a week on Monday!! I've got to sit an hour long maths exam which is marked straight afterwards and if I hit the 'pass mark' percentage I then go and have the face to face interview.

I'm trying to give DS his bedtime feed but it's not going too well - I'm not sure why but he's been really really reluctant to feed all day. I've been giving him calpol in case his teeth were hurting but it's not really making any difference.

Writerwannabe83 · 15/09/2014 20:12

And happy birthday for tomorrow!!!

mrsmugoo · 15/09/2014 20:13

He needed a 20 minute snooze on me at 6 as he couldn't manage til bedtime so total about 2.5hrs today and in bed just before 8. I'll be joining him by 9 I'm exhausted from a 5:30am start this morning!

Cannotbelieveit · 15/09/2014 20:13

Have you tried teething granules or anbesol on his gums? Sometimes they won't feed unless their gums are numb as the sucking motion makes blood rush to their gums and hurts them more :-(

Cannotbelieveit · 15/09/2014 20:14

Maths!! Ouch Shock

OP posts:
Cannotbelieveit · 15/09/2014 20:15

Thanks writer! I'm turning 31, feel really grown up now Shock

OP posts:
Writerwannabe83 · 15/09/2014 20:17

I'm 31 in six weeks - trying not to think about it Smile

Cannotbelieveit · 15/09/2014 20:18

It just feels so much more older than 30!! Blush

OP posts:
Cannotbelieveit · 15/09/2014 20:19

We've got quite a few similarities writer!

Mrs it won't be long til I'm in bed too, shattered

OP posts:
mrsmugoo · 15/09/2014 20:19

Shut it you two - I'm 34!

Cannotbelieveit · 15/09/2014 20:21

Mrs only joking! I think it's just a number really. I can't believe I finished school 14 years ago, I still feel 17 in my head

OP posts:
Writerwannabe83 · 15/09/2014 20:44

I wonder if we have any other similarities cannot Grin Are you a cat lover??

DS seems to have gone hyper! He's being a nightmare. Grizzling, screaming, moaning, refusing to be put down but hating being held and squirming everywhere.

Why are babies so unpredictable?

Cannotbelieveit · 15/09/2014 20:52

Writer yes!!! I'm typing this as our kitten lies on me!

OP posts:
Cariad007 · 15/09/2014 21:10

Right, shut it ALL of you! I'm 38 in a couple of months but always get told that I look younger so I guess that ok, haha. I hope I do, given that DP is only 26!!

Writerwannabe83 · 15/09/2014 21:23

Cariad - does that make you a cougar?? Grin

Cannot - yay Grin I have got two cats (sisters who we had from kittens) and I love them to pieces!!! It took me about 6 months to convince my DH into letting me have cats but he adores them too now!! Smile

AuntieMaggie · 15/09/2014 21:42

I'm 37 in a few months I always forget how old I am! DP is younger than me too but only by 4 years.

DS has had a funny day with feeding too writer but has now been going for 45 mins. He's also needed more cuddles than usual if that's possible and more help going to sleep so something seems to be bothering him. Fingers crossed he has a good night though.
