AND she's not feeding a tiny baby!
it is lovely

FrannyandZooey · 05/08/2006 20:55

Hey that's nice

She looks like she could do with a few pies, though, don't you think?

Joolstoo · 05/08/2006 20:56

yes she does and the child looks like it could be more comfortable

bit arty for my tastes I prefer the more natural pose

Northerner · 05/08/2006 20:57

But it is a fashion shoot

OP posts:
MrsJohnCusack · 05/08/2006 20:59

she could def do with some pies

I like the fact she looks rather like a Grecian statue
and it does make a change to see a pic of breastfeeding where it's not a newborn
that child looks like he's asleep!

NomDePlume · 05/08/2006 21:00

It's a nice enough pic, but not sure how it relates to the shoot. Strikes me as a grab attention and win brownie points type stunt.

Joolstoo · 05/08/2006 21:00

and I'm no expert but those norks don't look like bf ones (like I said - what do I know )

FrannyandZooey · 05/08/2006 21:01

I did wonder if it was a posed shot with a sleeping child

not many women who would be able to go through pregnancy and breastfeeding and appear topless in Vogue tbh

but it's a striking photo and I love the way the child is more like a toddler

NomDePlume · 05/08/2006 21:02

I find it a bit creepy if that's not her kid, tbh. I'll prob get hammered for that one....

NomDePlume · 05/08/2006 21:02

Creepy is the wrong word.... Tasteless sums it up more succintly

FrannyandZooey · 05/08/2006 21:02

Yes look his mouth is not actually over the nipple

Joolstoo · 05/08/2006 21:02

No, I agree NDP

MrsJohnCusack · 05/08/2006 21:03

it is her own son
so he might well actually be feeding (don't know about you but I couldn't get my non-breastfed toddle to pose like that for love nor food bribes!)

expatinscotland · 05/08/2006 21:03

It's not her kid?

Oh. Okay.

FrannyandZooey · 05/08/2006 21:03

Who cares if it is her child or not? People pretend to do all sorts of things with children that are not theirs on the television, it is called acting

Joolstoo · 05/08/2006 21:03

if they're trying to get a message over why not use a real nursing mother (if she's not!)

MrsJohnCusack · 05/08/2006 21:03

toddleR obviously

MrsJohnCusack · 05/08/2006 21:04

it says in the caption
Model Angela Lindvall, 27, with her son Sebastian

Joolstoo · 05/08/2006 21:04

Oh! MJC - it is her sone? I take it all back

FrannyandZooey · 05/08/2006 21:04

Bah

Joolstoo · 05/08/2006 21:05

son

FrannyandZooey · 05/08/2006 21:05

I think he is asleep, unless he breastfeeds with his nose

MrsJohnCusack · 05/08/2006 21:06

ooh I wouldn't think like that F&Z

I think the thing I like is it's a fashion photo - which may mean it's an attention grabbing stunt (like lots of fashion stuff) - but it's quite like a modern day Madonna and CHild thing.

WelshBoris · 05/08/2006 21:07

waaahhh in your face you bloody breastfeeding abusers

its her son wa wa wa wa

NomDePlume · 05/08/2006 21:07

Maybe she was feeding her DS during the shoot and the photographer took this pic because he/she liked the composition (or whatever the technical term is) and when the images were developed (or whatever), they saw this one and decided it was too good, too natural to be left out of the shoot, IYSWIM ?
