Ouch! Just had a lot of catching up to do. I wish I could say it was because Missmarbles had decided to sleep through from 7-7 but sadly not
Should have known that the first lovely night we have had in over a month was actually a dream fluke, and we are back to 3-hourly night feeds. At least transfers have been successful on the whole, and some self-settling has occurred. Liking the idea of a sclide though, Amey, just to make sure they remain relatively successful.
I am just sat in her room while she has an afternoon nap, because the Virgin Media man is banging holes in the walls for cabling
Actually she has just woken up and is chatting and gurgling. I'm glad coz she has been a bit of a grump today
DD1 has been off school again with high temps and poorliness, thankfully Missmarbles is unscathed this time. I have been grotty though, so not sure how I would manage with two poorly kids and no sleep. Anyway, DH and her are in the shed doing her homework
How's Kid, Goat? Missmarbles still managed to grin even with her poorly throat. Very cute in a
kind of a way listening to them croaking
Susie - What gestation was Babyloo born at? He's a day older than Missmarbles isn't he? She was 39+1. I think their similar patterns are amazing. I have cracked and started weaning Missmarbles this week too. I was going to wait til Tuesday (exactly 5 months) but she was so ready and this has been proved by the fact that she isn't really spitting much out; seems her tongue is mature enough to put it in the right place
We've only been doing first tastes. She's a gutsy little scoffer and loves to see her little bowl appearing
Jealous of Small and Susie's recent mammoth sleeps. Good work babies
MrsN Sorry you hare having such a rough time at the minute
. My mum and dad live about 200 miles from us too, and I really miss them, more so since Missmarbles was born. It's good that you have managed to tell your DH. He needs to know and understand that it may not even be a personal thing towards your in-laws, just how you are feeling at the minute, with so much going on, and the general lack of energy etc. Hope you are getting some relief for your eyes too.
Well done getting out of the house on time, Elvis! I struggle to do that without a baby
I wish I could put the baby seat in the front in my car, but I can't switch off the air bag. DD1 was always in the front because it didn't have a passenger air bag and it's so much easier to deal with.
Heff Hope you're enjoying Cornwall. My brother and his wife and baby have just moved there, and I can't wait to come down for holidays
Enjoy your conference today, Funch. I've applied for a new job and am already stressing about if I get an interview what will Missmarbles do, if I'm away the whole day. I know I have to deal with that for work, but it will be sorted by then.
Sorry you're having a hard time, Amey. Glad it sounds like your DH is supportive in suggesting the EBM night feed. Sounds like you're doing the right things and you need to do what works for you as a family.
at Mini. Haven't seen Nervous for a while - hope she's ok. at lurkers, and sorry to anyone I've missed. Tis a mahoosive post coz I'm on my laptop
All these flavoured lattes sound delish, but I don't like coffee, much to DH's chagrin. He says the flavours mask the coffee taste but when I taste his, all I can taste is coffee - yak!
I did make some coconut slice the other day. It's like bounty; didn't last long
mmmmmmm........
