Stupid phone! It really does cock up some of my postsAngryGrin
Not actually managed to be downstairs for long. After we shot the 45 minute intruder, I've been up here for the past hour with transfer failure after transfer failure.

MrsNPattz · 22/11/2012 21:04

Oh no Sad fingers crossed transfer works very soon!

I am pee'd off with the in laws, they wanted to come and see little one before we go tomorrow so hubby said they would be here early. Half 8 and they are just having their tea at SIL's! Do they think that little one will just stay up til whatever time they decide to turn up? I don't think so! And do they really think we need them here at stupid o'clock when we are busy getting ready for tomorrow? I don't think so! Angry

Goatbongosanonymous · 22/11/2012 21:37

Yep, epic transfer failures here too. And Kid did not nap nearly so much today so is probably mega overtired rather like mum
Right, shall try again.

Smicha · 22/11/2012 22:31

amey I dread to think what your dd would say about my legs!

marbles your autocorrects make me giggle!

mrsn hope the ILs didn't stay long! Have a great trip! I'm taking LO home to the north east next week and can't wait!

Sorry to hear of all the transfer fails. We're having a nightmare too. Since his jabs LO has slept for all of 20 mins!!! Half on dh and half in the cot. He's now feeding in bed with me but showing no signs of sleep! I take it I'm not one of the lucky ones whose child sleeps for hours after the jabs!!

How windy is it tonight?!?

funchum8am · 22/11/2012 23:14

Wow there is a serious transfer strike going on! Babyfunch is asleep and seems to have slept through her usual 10.30 feed slot, but then I did feed her at 7 instead of 6 tonight as I went out for a wildly late 4.30pm coffee so her nap was disturbed. This could be good actually, I could do with her waking later...leaves less night for her to wake up hourly in iyswim.

Night 2 of cosleeping here, though I won't bring her into bed til she wakes for a feed...which she sounds like she is doing now. Off I go....and I am at work tomorrow for the morning! Just realising how mad I am on that front!

Susieloo · 22/11/2012 23:30

1st feed of the night and not sure I can cope with another transfer failure, really feeling the tiredness tonight and irrationally taking it out on dp simply because he can't get up and do the night feeds, he is great at recognizing when I've had enough so will take babyloo out for a couple of hours so I can have a nap and whilst it helps its unbroken sleep at night that I need-moan over-attempting transfer........

blonderthanred · 22/11/2012 23:55

We've had a horrible day and the night is shaping up pretty badly. He just screams and screams. Some very explosive nappies so I think it is definitely wind. I've given him some Infacol so fingers xed it works and he starts burping. Poor little mite just keeps looking up at me so confused, wish I could take the pain away.

Have also given him dummy for the first time just to stop him trying to chomp on my nipples all the time and have a break between feeds. Can't see how we're ever going to sleep tonight as he is only comfortable upright.

Hope you're all doing better than us. Sad

missingmymarbles · 22/11/2012 23:55

I did a feed just before 10 so we have actually gone TWO whole hoursHmm Hopefully it won't go the same way as the other night that also began like this.

Glad autocorrect gives everyone a laugh. It's actually a cross between autocorrect and predictive text but its so annoying as most times I'm far too tired to notice/checkGrin

Smicha whereabouts in the north east are you from and where are you now ( you may have already said, but I've forgotten)? I'm from the north east too but live in the midlands now. I don't half miss it though. I was thinking I might take my girls back next weekend too but I don't think we can fit it in sadly. We're going up for Christ as and New Year though, and I'm really excited about that; we all areSmile

missingmymarbles · 22/11/2012 23:56

*Christmas argh!

Loup23 · 23/11/2012 00:21

Marking my place, this thread keeps me going through the feeds! Awful night last night (two hourly) hoping mini loup does better tonight - apologies for not name checking, will no doubt read updates soon Grin x

MrsNPattz · 23/11/2012 00:30

First feed here - super early for us. If he could go through til about 6 now that would be a nice time to get up and going Grin

Sorry for all of the transfer failures - wishing you all success in your next try's!

MrsNPattz · 23/11/2012 00:56

Oh no it must be transfer failure night! Hoping Ewan works but it's looking doubtful.......

funchum8am · 23/11/2012 01:20

This is madness - feeds at 11:15,12:40 and 1,15. The first was definitely hunger as had been 4 hours since her last feed but for the other two she woke doing this flailing and in pain type crying. I am really struggling and sounds like I am not alone. I just do not get why she can sleep so long in the day but not st night. May be she swallows more air at night feeds due to faster let down so has wind but it seems extreme. Off to get the infacol from downstairs before next feed.

Huge sympathy to everyone else suffering from the same broken night sleep!

Susieloo · 23/11/2012 01:23

Hello loup

marbles babyloo has just woken up after two hours so they are definitely in cahoots.

I have demolished another packet of mint Aero bubbles so now have nothing left for the rest of the night.

Can't keep my eyes open

Susieloo · 23/11/2012 01:25

Sorry you have had a rubbish day and night blonder, it is horrible seeing then in pain and distressed.

Susieloo · 23/11/2012 02:37

And we are up again so have gone to hourly waking nowSad

Smicha · 23/11/2012 02:50

Well we just got four hours, which I'm delighted about, but it seems a painful fart woke him rather than hunger. Hmph. He is feeding though. I'm going to be cruel and wake him further with a nappy change now we're up as I want to check him over paranoid mother with her pfb

marbles I'm from Washington but live in Cambridgeshire now. Miss it lots, especially now ds is here it seems so far away!

funchum8am · 23/11/2012 03:08

Ooh a painful fart sounds very unpleasant!

Still up here, at my wits' end really :(

missingmymarbles · 23/11/2012 03:15

Hourly here too. Since midnight.

Smicha · 23/11/2012 03:15

Oh funch sorry you're having such a rubbish night, and the rest of you with the transfer fails. Yep, LO looked very pained when he woke, poor thing.

Just checked him over and aside from a small bruise at one injection site he seems fine. Him with his jabs and me with my GTT means we've had our fair share of being pin cushions this week!

Welcome loup!

The wind has calmed down here now so hope the baby wind calms down too and we can all get some sleep!

Smallgreenone · 23/11/2012 03:27

Hi all, just had transfer failure here too. So so tired. susieloo I know what you mean my DH takes him too so I can nap but it really isn't the same as a night of unbroken sleep.
Second night of having guests, been lovely but want them to leave now so I can go bsck to my 8 o clock bedtime!

Smicha · 23/11/2012 03:31

It would appear it is singing and exercise time now! He looks really cute, but I'm trying to explain that this isn't appropriate at 3am.

funchum8am · 23/11/2012 04:13

Still up after trying infacol, letting her sleep on me, letting her cry for a bit, winding, keeping her upright and now feeding lying down. I thought letting her sleep on me was the answer but she still ended up thrashing about, waking and crying, though after a bit longer asleep. I think that means she isn't just seeking comfort. She is currently asleep but on her side so it isn't safe for me to fall asleep! May have to move all the rest of my KIT sessions to afternoons!

So sorry to hear others out there are also up hourly, it is soul destroying!

Ameybee · 23/11/2012 04:28

Sorry to hear everyone Is having rubbish nights with wind Etc:(. We made it from 9-2am! Amazing. But - crap mummy alert, if left one of his little snuggle blankies in his cot n he's managed to pull it over his face & wake up screaming, breaking his little heart he was, I felt awful! He must've scared himself.
So - he may have slept longer if it weren't for that. Just feeding him back off now. Hoping for no transfer failures as this is our usual time that things go wrong!
G
