When did you feel 100% confident in doing so?

any tips?

other than not caring what people think!

I've found wearing the nursing bra's that un clasp so you have kind of a peephole effect cover you so much better. They also make me feel a but less frumpy. Elle Macpherson & Hot Milk do some nice ones discounted

Great that you had a positive response Dozey.

TBH i have never really encountered any negativity or staring (fed 2 kids for total of 18 months) the thing that helped my confidence was using nursing vests (like this bravado one www.nursingbra.co.uk/bravado.htm you'll have to scroll down), they keep your tummy covered and nice and warm thus making you feel more secure. I guess it's a bit like the bra and vest method but a bit simpler (obv you can wear as many layers over the top as you like!)

Also second the advice of going to a breast feeding support group, seeing lots of other women doing it confidently and happily is very encouraging
