Unreasonable expectation number 4528!

Shall I start a thread on it?

Roxswood · 22/09/2005 19:50

I find hairy men distasteful. Think they should be banned from showing any hair that isn't living on the top of their heads.
No shorts, no open top buttons, no beards or moustaches. I mean come on people, its just common decency not to inflict your views on other people. We don't need to see your hair.
I think any hairy man in public should be offered a scarf or pair of trousers, and if they don't accept this they're obviously militants and ruining it for the rest of us.

mummysmilk · 22/09/2005 19:55

hairy backs!yuk!

Roxswood · 22/09/2005 19:57

Yucky yucky yuck!

They shouldn't be allowed in swimming pools unless they agree to cover up from neck to ankles!

hunkermunker · 22/09/2005 19:58

Come on, ladies - you're judging these hirsute men by your own standards. Men can't help being hairy and more than they can picking their noses, which is just like breastfeeding. Or something.

hunkermunker · 22/09/2005 19:58

"any more"

ahem

No, my parp is at myself - it's one of my hooter subjects.

Roxswood · 22/09/2005 20:04

Giggling..

I just find it odd that people think its ok to ask a bfing mother to leave when there are distasteful offensive things all around us that we wouldn't think we had a right to complain about.

I love seeing people bfing their babies in public and can't help staring. I always try and smile or say something positive if I can but I'm sure some people have probably thought I was disapproving. I hope not though. My little one now insists on having her milk whenever she sees a baby breastfeeding, and its funny to get astounded looks at bfing a toddler from a Mum sitting there bfing her own baby.

karmamother · 22/09/2005 20:22

Can we change this thread to a debate about flabby bellies at the school gates, with tattoos & naval piercings, please?

Sounds much more interesting.

Roxswood · 22/09/2005 21:07

Absolutely Karmamother!!!

Militant tummy-show-offs!

karmamother · 22/09/2005 21:47

There should be a law against piercing flabby bellies. Just as you have to be above a certain age to get a tattoo, you should have your BMI calculated before getting a tummy piercing.

The last time I felt this strongly about something was in the early 90s when I thought ski-pants above a size 14 should be burned at source.

Tortington · 22/09/2005 22:23

i dont see why us flabbies cant wear ski pants or have navel piercings and if we feel comfortable enough to flaunt it then why not

but did understand the concept as it was used

Roxswood · 23/09/2005 08:50

Chewing gum! That should be banned...

and coughing in restaurants!

karmamother · 23/09/2005 10:39

Ahem,

spidermama · 23/09/2005 13:17

Totally agree roxwood. Chewing gum makes a disgusting mess all over the pavements which doesn't come off.

And it's well known (I learned this at school) that if you swallow chewing gum it wraps itself around your heart.

Roxswood · 23/09/2005 19:29

giggling spidermama!

Just like its well known that babies don't need breastfeeding after six months! Doesn't everyone know that?
