sorky · 12/08/2010 16:43

I'd poas now tbh. FR will show up 3days early :)

sorky · 12/08/2010 16:47

failing that, you're cd30 of a 30-32 day cycle, so if you can wait then Sunday morning would be best.

I'd be POAS NOW tho'

I did always love the poas bit, 'tis the only bit of ttc I'll miss Wink

essenceofSES · 12/08/2010 18:23

BFN with FR :(
I'll maybe try again in the morning if still no AF and leave it at that.

Sorky - hope the DC are not too upset.

bumpsnowjustplump · 12/08/2010 22:24

sorry for BFN ses but it aint over yet...

Sorky so sorry about the chicken hope the little ones are not too upset.. How are the other two?

GruffaloSoldier · 12/08/2010 23:43

I am so sorry sorky :( i hope the others are ok!

ses lol at weeing on wrong end of test! sorry for bfn. fingers crossed for the morning.

GY - yes it would be fab to be expecting at the same time again. we could have a weekly meet up at the bridge and BOTH eat cake ;) (i would not be so cruel as to have cake and not share anyway :) )

I have been out with my NCT ladies tonight, it was such a good eve!we now have our first lady pg with baby no.2 too :)

right I am off to bed now!

GiraffeYoga · 13/08/2010 09:09

First comment was aimed at Ses- although Im sure you worked that out. :)

Starshinetiger · 13/08/2010 13:53

Ses - sorry for BFN. Guess there is still hope if no AF.

Sorky - sorry for chook. Hope DC took it okay.

Cant - no DC3 on the horizon for us. I regularly get through the, well, if I got pregnant end of 2011 and then I'll have had 2 more years experience, more time to save and could stay at home with the DC full-time and have it all planned out. Then I remember that any subsequent DC has a 1 in 70 chance of having Bladder Exstrophy (or poss worse connected complication) and it would be much more devastating in a boy and when I have 2 gorgeous DC, is it worth the risk (plus DH still averse to more DC Grin). So, think the answer is no, but still trying to get my head round that Confused

Gruff - yay for tidy flat. Hope valuation goes well.

Hi GYo!

Wonders when Diege is going to come back and tell us her news.... .... how on earth did we allow her a holiday pass at such a crucial time WinkGrin

essenceofSES · 13/08/2010 15:22

Another BFN with First Response this morning so I've decided the nausea must be a mild version of the nursery sickness bug. Don't think I could be having MS so early without a BFP.

Star - my best friend is still trying to get her head round no more DC. She's not finding it easy but is grateful for her miracle IVF DD and says as time goes by she realises more and more that it's the right thing for their family. Hope you find over time the same thing - you do have a very beautiful family :)

LOL at not allowing Diege holiday at sucha crucial time!

Giraffe - did your Friday feeling continue? I only worked this morning as I did a full day Tuesday on my usual half day.

Gruff - hope your valuation went well. Exciting times for you guys!

Cant - have you restrained yourself from testing still?!

Hello bumps, MMM, Moosy, Rugby and anyone else around!

essenceofSES · 13/08/2010 15:22

Don't know why I decided to bold Star's name?!!

GiraffeYoga · 13/08/2010 15:40

Sorry for BFN Ses. :(

cantmummyhaveabreak · 13/08/2010 18:12

sorry for BFN ses- hope AF turns up soon tho to stop you worrying over it, and get back GOFing for next cycle!! Grin

have been symptom spotting again a bit, but not testing... though i did consider looking on ebay- but have so far resisted!!

Just eaten the biggest ever plate of tea- made gammon, egg, chips & beans... Was super yummy but i'm stuffed!!

cantmummyhaveabreak · 13/08/2010 19:47

SES- just looked at the cute pic of O eating his tea on FB, had the pic on the screen still when i went to dress DD2 for bed, she saw him and kept pointing and doing baby convo... i said 'thats O' and she was trying to say his name!! Think it may be love at first sight!!

THEN (and more importantly) DD2 has spent the last half hour walking!!!!!!!!

Took 8 steps, fell over then got back up and took another 5 at her longest travels!! I'm so happy- was very close to tears it was so fab!!

essenceofSES · 13/08/2010 20:28

Cant - That's fantastic about DD2's walking! No stopping her now :)
LOL at her trying to say O's name too Grin She'll have to meet the real thing in person again some time!

DH has cooked us a lamb stew this evening - yummy :)

essenceofSES · 13/08/2010 20:48

Aaargh! Stew was lovely but not settling well. He managed to use our home grown courgettes in it too :)

Hope you're all having lovely Friday evenings. We're watching Masterchef.

GruffaloSoldier · 13/08/2010 22:48

Hi Ses,

Have a busy weekend aswell as my nieces 7th birthday party tomorrow in Kent, so big family gathering and then on Sunday we have our good friends engagement get together with all their close friends and family so am really looking forward to the weekend!:)

Tink - nice to have you back! glad it went well.

CANT - great about DD2 walking!

GY - its the weekend now - yay! hope you have a nice relaxing one!

Star - I can see why you are in a quandry over DC3, I hope you can reach decision you are happy with (sorry not sure if I have put that right) but yes at least you have two beautiful DCs to enjoy :)

Hope everyone has great weekends!

cantmummyhaveabreak · 14/08/2010 08:59

morning all.

DH ran over my phone yesterday in the car and broke it- was up super late last night bidding on ebay phones and finally won one!! Just can't wait for it to arrive- using DH's old phone and really dont like it!! Think i'm buying a new one after payday!!

DH is back at work today after 2 weeks off!! Seems odd- though the DC's are being good considering i thought they'd be nightmares!! :)

tinktellyaddict · 14/08/2010 09:39

When is Diege back?!

Nausea developed into full blown d&v at 2am :( Feel v tired and drained now. Still no AF but I guess it's delayed by me being ill.

Hope everyone's having a good wkend and managing to avoid too much rain!

tinktellyaddict · 14/08/2010 17:09

evening Grin

went food shopping
picked up next order of girls winter bits r great Grin

sorry ses for d&v

Diege · 14/08/2010 20:22

Hello, I'm back! Had a lovely 2 weeks, though restful it was not,and dd3's tantrums have plunged to new depths Hmm
Well af appeared after I was convinced that I was pregnant Sad. My cycle has reduced over the last few months to 25 days, and this one was 32 days...I took a test on cd 31 and was totally gobsmacked when it was a clear bfn - not gutted, but very shocked! I think the agnus castus (?) I have been taking is certainly lengthening my luteal phases which I think is good Confused. So full steam ahead for this month - I will also be temping for the first time ever, so try and pinpoint when/if I'm ovulating!
Will have a read through now and see what you've all been up to Grin

essenceofSES · 14/08/2010 20:38

Hello Diege! Welcome back!!
AF finally arrived here this evening too. Think I may revert to temping this cycle as well. I also have a Clearblue Fertility Monitor. Me desperate to be pg? Surely not!!

Sorry for DD3's tantrums. How old is she? Were they over anything in particular or just random frustrations?

Tink - winter bits sound good!

I finally ordered DS an outfit for my brother's wedding in 3 weeks. I got these and have ordered a JoJoMamanBebe pale blue collared vest to go underneath.
Part of me really wanted to go with a smart shirt, trousers and waistcoat but he's just not used to wearing those and it will hopefully be a warm day and he'd never wear them again!

My outfit is a dress a bought about 3 years ago but have only worn once. It's a size 12 and I'm worried it may not fit if I'm not careful. I guess the weekend's D&V may have helped Blush

Nothing on tv tonight so I'm waffling. Sorry!

Diege · 14/08/2010 20:52

Hi SES! Sorry for af - think it was your first month of trying,am I right?
I love the linen dungarees - how perfect, plus you'll get more wear out of them that a more formal outfit.
Re: tantrums and dd3, she is 5 in Nov would you believe...we've got away with tantrums until about 6 mths ago, but the ones on holiday were eye watering.Shrieks that make your ears crackle - the worst one being in the middle of a playbarn when we wouldn't allow her on the 8 and overs 'death slide' Dh ended up taking her out, the place literally fell silent Blush, although one woman did congratulate us on doing the right thing holding firm Grin. Thinking back, the other were a bit that way on hols too - I think the change from routine/rules etc etc is too much for her,and her brain can't take in all the change (either that or she's the devil's spawn Wink. Anyway, here's to number 5 Hmm
