PMSL - piing myself laughing

Hi all, you have all done well today with the chat AGAIN, just taken me 15 mins to catch up!

Had consultant check up at the hospital today! Turned up with high blood pressue and more infection in my pee sample than was necessary!! Nurse said it was like glue!!
Have been booked in for scans at 21,28,32 and 36 weeks to check babe growth cos ds was a big baby (well 8lb4 but too big for me!) Also told today that if ms doesnt stop, i dont start putting on weight in the next 7-14 days and my infection doesnt clear up that i may be admitted to hospital indefintely especially due to my high blood pressure!! NO WAY CAN I DO THAT!!
Have had to go out today and buy more pillows for the bed and also a support pillow cos i just cant get comfortable in bed at all!!

Well I've measured & I'm up to 8 sheets . Lots of pasties in there helping to fill out my tummy!!

wish i could rest but am minding 6 kids this week including my own and cant afford any more time off!!

Thanks for the holiday well wishes. I'm back on the 31st and then away camping to the Big Chill festival on the 4th. I'll check in in-between to see how you all are.

Bonkerz, I think today could be a home cinema day for the kids. Get a few films, a mountain of popcorn, switch the lights out and leave them to watch whilst you doze in the corner!!

Had a very vivid dream last night about having a baby boy so we'll have to wait until later to see if I'm pyschic or not!!!

Kangel - you didn't look stupid yesterday - you were very entertaining. Just what us girls need when we are stuck in a boring office

Bonkerz - please, please take it easy. I know you say you can't afford to have time off but try and remember it's really improtant to take care of yourself and the bubba first - can you really afford not to take time off. I don't want to sound doom and gloom but I know I'd never be able to forgive myself if something bad happened.

It's just that after loosing our last baby and going through the self blame process I know that I would do anything in my power to protect this little bean!!!! Even if it meant living on the breadline for the next 4.5 months!!!!

I'll be leaving for my scan at 11am. I'm feeling quite anxious. I was thinking about it this morning and I found out the sex of my dd when I gave birth to her so today sort of feels like a mini version of actually having the baby. I can't imagine what it will be like to know the sex of this bean - it will probably be sods law that after getting excited about it the baby will have it's legs crossed or something

If I get it right I'll be happy to predict for you girls but there will be a small fee

You can't ask for much better odds than 50/50!!!!!

Well DQ, My baby is very low down - right in my pelvis. I asked the scanner lady and she said it's fine - there is absolutly nothing to worry about. She said babies where sit wherever they can get comfy, so you and I can both stop worrying!!!

The little blighter had it's legs curled up and was sitting on it's bits but they still gave us an 85-90% chance of what they think it is!!!!!!

I will find out for sure in 12 weeks as I have to go back for another scan. I have a low lying placenta - nothing to worry about though - I had it with my dd too and it moved in plenty of time for the birth!!!!
