Well found out this morning that I am pg!! 3 weeks and 4 days so pretty early days yet though!

Been trying for a fair while but first month using OPKs so would highly recommend them.

Will introduce myself anyway - dh and I both 26 with a 17 month old ds. Am so excited to be pg again even though it was a bit of a rough ride last time around!

Thanks again Twiga. I may take you up on the CAT offer...

Twiga · 04/08/2005 18:16

Honestly, anything at all... gotta go make a start on tea but will keep checking in over the evening.

Frizbe · 04/08/2005 18:56

Cadmum {{{{Big Hugs}}}} roll on Tuesday when you'll have some more info, I'm away for the weekend now, but thinking of you {{{Hugs}}

Hi to eveyone else and well done to those of you with large families, personally I'm an only child myself and I'm aiming for a large family too! although with ss and dd, this next one will make 3, so I'm well on the way

munz · 04/08/2005 20:20

just quick girls, cadmum - hope things work out for you today - i'll cat u if u don't mind, thinking of u and fingers crossed beanie's sticking strong.

Cadmum · 04/08/2005 20:34

Sorry Twiga... I have had my hands full with DSs and DD this afternoon and I haven't had the chance to CAT you. Not really sure what I could say other than more whingeing... I did not realise that you are in Scotland! My mum is a Fifer. Happy Anniversary and enjoy your celebration tomorrow.

DH did call this afternoon and I felt guilty for telling him that I am worried... There is precious little he can do from his office in New York. I just didn't think that I could lie to him.

Munz: feel free to CAT me anytime but as I said to Twiga I am not sure that I have much to say...

Twiga · 04/08/2005 21:05

Cadmum, moaning is fine things are feeling pretty stressful for you right now, like I said there's an ear here if you need it.

I'm based in Aberdeen in the chilly north! Don't know Fife too well, although a good pal of mine is from Dumfermlin so I've seen a little of there. Was born inWales but moved a lot as my dad was in the RAF - love Scotland though and have been up here for 9 years - came for uni then met hubby so stayed. Hubby's nothern Irish so we're both away from home so to speak.

Don't feel bad for talking to your dh, he may be at a distance but would probably feel awful if he thought you'd struggled with this by yourself.

Twiga · 04/08/2005 22:17

Cadmum, I'm off to bed but if you don't mind I'm gonna stay with you over the next few days either on here or via CAT, there's no way you get to worry by yourself ok? {{{hugs}}} Night!

Cadmum · 04/08/2005 22:22

Thanks Twiga...

Sweet Dreams...

baggybear · 04/08/2005 22:39

desperatehousewife · 05/08/2005 08:47

How are you feeling today Cadmun? Did you sleep ok? can you phone doc today and get earlier scan?

baggybear · 05/08/2005 09:13

Good morning to you all!! I'm not going to be on much today so I wish you all the best of luck for doctors appts, scans and just generally getting through the day. BIG {{{{HUGS}}}} to you all!

Have a good day xxxx

Twiga · 05/08/2005 09:31

Morning all!

Cadmum, have sent you a CAT - hope you're doing ok this morning!

majormoo · 05/08/2005 12:01

I had my scan and thank god there was a heartbeat and baby looked the right size for its dates. Was scary because she couldn't see anything when she scanned my belly, so DH and I thought the worst. But she did an internal scan and all was OK. Apparently I have a reversed uterus or something (it goes backwards???) so that is why she found it hard to see at first. They couldn't explain the bleeding-just said it is one of those things. Just have to cross our fingers now.

I hope other people's scans go OK and people don't feel too ill.

Lizzylou · 05/08/2005 12:36

Congrats Majormoo, hope everyone is Ok...
Cadmum, hope you are OK, please try not to worry too much, sending you positive vibes and warm wishes xxx
Everyone else, hope you are Ok and have great weekends...I am off on a Hen night with old Uni friends...who don't know yet, but am sure they will guess when i hit the J2O's instead of the gin!
Sorry am in a bit of a hurry before Ds wakes up!

desperatehousewife · 05/08/2005 17:10

majormoo - many congrats - what a flipping relief!

Cadmum · 05/08/2005 17:35

Yeah Majormoo! What a huge relief it must have been to see the bean.

I am trying to stay positive... Still worried that I just don't feel sick enough but no more cramping this morning and still no bleeding so roll on Tuesday to know one way or another, I suppose.

DH is home this evening so at least I will not be alone with the children and my worries.

Thanks for all your support. I am sorry for being a downer...

Jackstini · 05/08/2005 17:35

Majormoo - really pleased for you, glad you can breathe easy and have a relaxing weekend xx

oneofeach · 05/08/2005 17:38

Hello everyone. I haven't posted for a while, I've gone from feeling no symptons to completely yucky all day. I also cannot stop eating. It stops me feeling sick for about an hour, then I have to eat again. And it has to be proper food like bread etc. But I have gone off sugary things so that is good. I had my booking in with the midwife today which was nice and I have a date for my scan so it is all becoming real now. 10 weeks on Monday, double figures! Hope you're all feeling not too bad, hopefully another few weeks and we'll all be feeling and looking radiant!

Cadmum · 05/08/2005 17:38

Meant to say thank you to Munz and Twiga for the CATs... I have replied to both of you. I hope you got them.

mumtosomeone · 06/08/2005 07:05

morning everyone!
Hope all is well today!

baggybear · 06/08/2005 08:05

Morning! Hope you are all well.

Majormoo - i'm really glad your scan went well. It must be a huge relief. I've still got just over 5 weeks til mine

Cadmum - Glad your DH is home now. I relly hope you have a good weekend and get lots of rest and you manage to relax a bit. xx

I've had a rotten mornig so far. I went out for a meal last night and had chicken, which i was sure was cooked properly, but it was a bit dark where we were sitting! But woke up at 4am feeling really ill. Thought at first that i felt ill coz i'd woken so early, but then realised the feeling had woken me up. Then thought it was morning sickness but again, would that wake mre up?? Feel really ill now. Worried about what I could have eaten last night

mumtosomeone · 06/08/2005 08:17

morning baggy hope you pick up soon!

baggybear · 06/08/2005 08:35

Thanks M2S1! I'm sure its probably morning sickness. I was thinking i might get away with it this time as with the other 3 kids i was being really sick at this stage and i ve been fine up til now with this one. Probably just kicking in later.

Hope all is well with you

mumtosomeone · 06/08/2005 09:04

not sure.
spotting!

RosiePosie · 06/08/2005 10:02

oh, how worrying for you mumtosomeone - I hope that's all it is.

I just thought I would let you all know that I found the baby's heartbeat for the first time this morning, with my doppler . It was very reassuring - until you have a scan or hear the heart, you can never be quite convinced there's anything in there, can you? I'm 10 weeks 4 days. I'm going to try and limit myself to only listening for it once a day though, otherwise I think I could become obsessed.

Thinking of you all, this pregnancy lark's no fun one way or the other is it? xx
